Featuring real blue stained glass accents and silver etching throughout the faceplate, the very familiar Halo logo sits behind a Cortana figure whose ass appears to be glued to the power button. I personally don’t care for the appearance of this faceplate as it’s much too busy for my tastes, but it may make a nice collectible for anybody who is particularly passionate about Halo. Then again, $90 seems a bit pricey so perhaps you should just grab your own Cortana action figure, set it next to your console, and call it good. Don’t worry, you can still press that certain little area when you turn on your console if it makes you feel better.

This blinged out Xbox 360 faceplate boasts over two thousand brilliantly cut genuine Swarovski crystals. Featuring only the colors black, gray, and white (minus the single red crystal adorning the power button), this faceplate would look absolutely perfect on the Xbox 360 in my family room. That particular room, which functions primarily as a game room, has plenty of black with a spattering of silver accents making this plate a much better fit than the last more brightly colored version. If I keep seeing beautifully blinged out faceplates such as this one, I just may have to spruce up my own at some point.

Is That My Blood on Your Power Button?

Expertly line up opponent’s head in center of reticle. Carefully squeeze trigger precisely at right moment. Triumphantly watch target suddenly hurl backwards in the most amazing back flip ever. Rinse. Repeat. If this sniper’s life cycle accurately describes you, it’s probably about time your console reflected that.

Sporting the familiar phrase “If you run, you’ll only die tired”, this Xbox 360 faceplate is a sniper’s dream. A line of reticles sweep across the length of the faceplate before landing on the power button (which is splattered with the blood of what used to be your opponent’s head). It looks like it has been through battle and back but still proudly sports that familiar Halo green. Unfortunately for me this faceplate serves as a stark reminder that the sniper rifle only accounts for a pathetic 3.73% of my total kills. I guess I will have to keep waiting for the “My stickies love my teammates” version.
