Belches, and Boils, and Bile, Oh My!

Left 4 Dead 2 Boomer Plush

I have an ex-boyfriend who, during the duration of our relationship, wore the same stained sweat pants every single day, always made belching, gurgling noises, and never failed to produce vast quantities of bile whenever we dined out. Valve’s newest stuffed offering, the Left 4 Dead 2 Boomer Plush, would be the perfect piece to immortalize him forever. Covered in tumors and looking oh so fine, this adorably soft special infected stands 13″ tall and makes ten different in-game sounds. He’ll cost you $49.99 but it’s safe to say everybody will love him! Well, not that one person, but he doesn’t count anyways because he hates everything.

A Working Bionicle Plasma Pistol

Bionicle Halo Plasma Pistol

When I’m lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the numerous Bionicles scattered across the minefield that is my living room floor, I instantly see a mini militia of sharp-edged pieces that will hurt like hell when I accidentally step on them. Lego fanatic Potu sees something entirely different though. Determined to build her best creation yet, she took over 400 pieces intended to make part-organic, part-machine beings and instead concocted a Type-25 Directed Energy Pistol. Typically this Covenant weapon, which finds its origins in the Halo universe, emits bursts of superheated ionized gas but the Bionicle Plasma Pistol expels little green balls. There’s a few more pictures of it you’re welcome to lust over after the jump. Just try to not be jealous of the multiple loads it can shoot. You’ll get there one day. Maybe.

My Little Lara Croft Pony

Lara Croft My Little Pony

An original My Little Pony plus any other character automatically equals win. From a Left 4 Dead Hunter mashup to a custom Master Chief creation, anything and everything (assuming it’s done well) works, and the latest plastic video game-themed pony is no exception. Made to look like Lara Croft from the popular Tomb Raider series, this miniature Hasbro horse started off as a mangled Strawberry Swirl and was magically transformed into the mare version of everybody’s favorite athletic archaeologist-adventurer. The making of the body necessitated the use of Apoxie Sculpt, acrylic paint, sealant, and faux leather, but the neck and up actually required very little work. I guess the fact that her face has always resembled that of a horse has finally paid off!
