I recently came to the startlingly realization that I need a new pair of earrings. My particular style, which I would classify as “completely and utterly geeky”, is not available in most stores so I tend to have my jewelry custom made. There is nothing I love more than wearing my video games around my neck. Sometimes I will even wear them in my nose. I have yet to wear them around my wrist though, but this bracelet just may change that.

I purchased my Nintendo hairclips several months ago and they are by far my most used hair accessory. Thankfully the seller is good about keeping them stocked in her store so you can find them pretty easily. They are teeny tiny and not nearly as big as they look in the picture (they are perfect for pulling back just the top center section of your hair). I am wearing one of those hairclips in this picture (from a Monday Night Football game!) just to give you an idea of how much hair it can hold. Go stock up and never lose a game again because of the length of your hair. You may lose because your over zealous teammate keeps throwing grenades in an innocent attempt to help you when you are fighting an opponent but at least your hair will be held nicely off your face, right?

I am strangely addicted to video game-themed jewelry, but you knew that already. Remember my beyond adorable Guitar Hero necklace? I loved it so much that I had to order another item from the same store, this time a custom pink Xbox 360 controller necklace.

Quality is just as high with this necklace as my last one. It is insanely detailed, down to the d-pads and the guide button. She attached colored beads (that coordinate with the button colors) to the side of it, a little touch that I simply love. This piece cost me about $20 total including shipping and handling, which is well worth it considering how often I sport it.
