Master Chief and Cortana Original Art

halo 3 screenshotMaster Chief and Cortana, the much beloved leading characters from the Halo video game series, have been the subject of numerous art pieces across many different mediums. Alone and together they have graced sexy envelope-pushing posters, custom painted faceplates, and prints made from original canvas paintings (among several other original art pieces as well). There is currently another artist’s depiction of the popular video game duo for sale on eBay, this time by DBlack.

This piece of original artwork (which measures 11″ x 17″) was done on heavy pastel paper. While liberties were obviously taken with Cortana, I actually really like the blue that was selected as her color. I appreciate how muted it is with its brown undertones and how seamlessly it flows with the main colors of the entire piece. Don’t kill me but I even like her hairstyle better this way. Between her hair and seductive eyes, she really looks quite modern and beautiful. I am sure all of you are too busy ogling the boobs from the last poster to care anyways. Pervs.

Real Life Cortanas

Cortana, the fictional artificially intelligent hologram from the Halo series of video games, is a much beloved character by both female and male fanatics alike. Besides the fact that she has no physical form or being, Cortana has an outward appearance that is simply difficult to replicate in a costume. Here are some dedicated individuals that have taken the challenge and done it successfully. Do be warned, a few of the pictures are probably NSFW, unless you work somewhere that puts body paint on nude models of course.

MsValentine has been cosplaying for more than half a decade and over that time period there has been a significant evolution in the quality of her Cortana costume. Playing under the gamertag Cortana2552, she is clearly the definition of a hardcore Halo fan. While she has a few critics for her color choice of purple instead of blue, not many people can deny that her Cortana cosplay is really quite impressive.

Cortana in Your Shower

Many Halo 3 fanatics fantasize about Master Chief. Males simply wish they were him (I know some of you have a Master Chief costume in your closet) and females wish they could be with him. Skipping through a fragrant lush meadow holding hands amongst the wild flowers and butterflies sort of be with him (not the other kind, you perverts). Other people obsessed with the Halo series find themselves dreaming of everybody’s favorite female AI. The fantasy of being Cortana can now become a reality with this neat gadget for your shower.

The LED Shower Light, which is expected to be available in mid-May for $44.95, illuminates your shower stall with a brilliant blue glow quite similar to the familiar glow that our favorite AI character basks in. There is a small downside though. The LED light is temperature controlled meaning it shines blue when the temperature is a cool 89 degrees or less but then switches to red when it goes above that mark. Yes, it will be cold but that just means you need Master Chief in there to warm you up. He said to wake him if you need him. Well guess what? It’s time to get up.

Master Chief and Cortana, Kirby Style

VG Cats recently posted the cutest comic that plays dress up with everybody’s favorite spherical creature Kirby. Out of the 100 impersonations of various video game characters, of course my favorites were Cortana and Master Chief.
