This Chucky-Themed Xbox 360 Really Wants to Play

Chucky Xbox 360If you thought Chucky was simply a depraved, foul-mouthed killer doll determined to transer his soul into the first young boy who set eyes on him, you would be mistaken because he not only was the main antagonist in Child’s Play (a 1988 horror film which eventually kicked off an entire series) but he also served as the primary inspiration behind a rather unique custom Xbox 360. Featuring an outline of his likeness cut into one side with his picture adorning the other, everything down to the Good Guy doll faceplate is plastered with his repulsive, scrape-covered face. I always wanted to answer no when I heard him say, “Hi, I’m Chucky. Wanna play?” but I think in this case I would make an exception.

This Xbox 360 Needs More Bling

Anybody with a semi-functional brain knows that when you want to run a successful public relations campaign, your best bet is rolling your product around in a big ass pile of small, shiny stones. Well, at least Microsoft knows this because they recently commissioned CrystalRoc to deck out an Xbox 360 with more than 11,520 individual Swarovski crystals. Perhaps I’m not looking at the smaller details close enough but that particular model looks suspiciously like an Arcade unit. Because covering the cheapest version of your console in expensive, luxury gems makes perfect fucking sense. Anyways, needs more bling.

A Skull That Cradles Your Controller

Any day my numerous gaming headsets, music game microphones, spare batteries, and fake plastic peripherals are not scattered all across the floor is a good day. Clearly Darryl is a bit more organized than I am though because he keeps his favorite Xbox 360 controller safe and sound in a very special Halo-themed cradle. Made from a skull he modified and embellished himself, the controller rests perfectly on top of something that closely resembles the human skulls hidden in Halo 3′s campaign. You’re welcome to take a peek at the hand painted Spartan insignia that resides on the back of the accessory holder after the jump. Assuming you’re not too busy being jealous of the controller that gets more head than you do that is.

An Xbox 360 Strictly for the Birds

Angela loves to paint, so much in fact that she meets with her brother once a week to do just that. At one such gathering he proposed she use an Xbox 360 as her medium of choice and she was only too happy to oblige. After sanding the shell and acquiring a stock of sunset-colored paint, Angela set about adorning her awaiting canvas with trees, flowers, and the most adorable bluebirds that have ever graced a gaming machine. It’s refreshing to see a serene, beautiful console, especially one with such a brilliant color palette and considering the box was already broken, the rubescent theme will go perfectly with its red ring of death.
