Rorschach inkblot tests provide incredible insight into a person’s personality characteristics and emotional functioning. Regardless of the type of ambiguous design displayed, the answers and information gleaned from them are always fascinating. We’ve learned a tremendous amount about each other through our regular Halo 3 Heatmap tests, and I have no doubt today will prove just as entertaining as previous ones. Before we analyze another image though, let’s take a look at the results from the last one we did which took place back in October. The featured map was Heretic and Not Funny kicked off the comments with a Big Daddy reference. Entirely too many people to count found themselves agreeing.

Other video games are usually a popular answer during these festivities, but someone always brings it back to Halo. DieByYourUncleBob insisted the image bore resemblance to the Grunt Head emblem and numerous others, along with myself, saw it as well.

A few other interesting answers included mendicantbias00 saying Lego Princess Leia and Louis Wu citing Dr. Eggman. Unable to choose my favorite between the two, I thought I would leave it up to all of you to decide which one more resembles the Midship remake.

Right as we ran out of room for picture comparisons, I came across Noah’s response of goatse. Talk about bad timing! Unfortunately I’ll have to leave you to judge the similarity of the images in your head as it’s now time to dissect yet another Halo 3 Global Heatmap. The subject of our twelfth enlightening psychological evaluation is Orbital, a docking-station featuring two overlapping hallways. So tell me, what exactly do you see? And as always, extra nonexistent points for originality!

I tend to not get excited about Halloween (probably because every day is Dress Like a Slut Day in my world) so when that less than magical holiday rolls around, I subtract an L, throw on my favorite Halo shirt, and call it good. Heather agrees with my overall sentiments but puts a little more effort into her annual ensembles. Crafting a Jackal mask from eyeballs, teeth, and other random body parts that were scattered about her basement, all she has left is slapping on a few more feathers and then this costume can be called complete. Halloween may have already come and gone, but Thanksgiving is right around the corner. As if you need an excuse to crave some of that deliciously moist meat.

If this evening will find you avoiding any and all new releases that end in “2″, perhaps you will consider stopping by The Running Riot for their scheduled Firestream Firefight. Louis Wu (of HBO), Jironimo (of Ascendant Justice), Insane54 (of Forge Hub), and Firestream (of Halo Charts) along with myself  will be indulging in a round or two of Halo 3: ODST’s Firefight set to broadcast via Livestream. A little birdie told me that we will be playing on Legendary so I anticipate numerous rampant plasma grenades and betrayals galore. And that’s just from Louis Wu! :rimshot:

The occurrence of iconic imagery appearing in natural phenomena is rare but certainly not unheard of. Presenting upon assorted edible items such as grilled cheese sandwiches and fresh-baked cinnamon buns, Mother Teresa, the Virgin Mary, and even Jesus Christ himself have found themselves front and center on various food-related objects. The most recent example of this particular happenstance was discovered during mundane dinner preparation being performed by Kato. Upon the slicing of an especially poignant red onion he was greeted with the familiar face of an old friend, the crudely drawn character of Mister Chief. I personally find this comparison to be a bit of a stretch; where he sees eyes, I see two penises yearning to gently touch tips. You’ll probably manage to see a bewb in there somewhere, but that’s the magic of this miraculous occurrence. It’s all in the eye of the beholder.

Will tattoos people. He gets paid to repeatedly drive razor-sharp needles in and out of several layers of someone’s skin, rapidly inserting indelible ink to create a decorative, and often personally significant, image. One of his more recent jobs included the task of permanently placing Master Chief Petty Officer John-117 upon a Halo fanatic’s upper arm. Wearing his easily recognizable sage green armor and surrounded by a cloud of blue, the ink version of our favorite Spartan supersoldier appears to be holding a hadouken-esque fireball-spewing submachine gun in each hand. The only way that tattoo could be more bad ass is if the guns were magnums. And by magnums I mean really large penises. Surely I’m not the only one that calls that their favorite dual wielding combo!
