Halo: Reach ViDoc – A Spartan Will Rise

Halo: Reach Cupcakes

Halo: Reach Cupcakes

The moment we finally have Halo: Reach in our hands will be a delicious one indeed, but is there a way to create that tantalizing taste before September 14th? If you’re Death By Cupcake, the answer is glaringly obvious: make the game in mini cake form! Made for a friend who just happens to be an Associate Producer at Bungie, these confectionery treats consist of chocolate cupcakes topped with Reach-themed, hand painted fondant toppers. The logo, along with the helmets of both Emile and Jun, all snagged some face time on these scrumptious, small desserts. The 9′ x 6′ creation, which took the very talented Dave Denner two days to design and three days to paint, features John-117 accompanied by the Arbiter, a Warthog, and a small fleet of Hawks. Pictures documenting the process are awaiting your arrival after the jump, but know in advance there is no Cortana. Apparently he has to wait until he’s 17 for that.
