A Legendary Piece of Halo Stained Glass

If you thought the Covenant were the only race who enjoyed the act of glassing, then clearly you’ve never met Veggie-San. Employing a similar strategy that thankfully omits any and all planetary destruction, this particular Halo fanatic uses her talents to create beautiful pieces of art. Her latest effort, one that required the meticulous arrangement of numerous colored shards, resulted in an amazing stained glass version of the instantly recognizable Halo Legendary icon. Featuring an Elite skull, two crossed UNSC Combat Knives, and a shield, she called upon the copper foil method (which involves wrapping the pieces of glass with copper foil and soldering them together along the length of the seams) to complete her mythical masterpiece. As it’s a bit on the delicate side, it is worth noting that tapping dat glass is not recommended.

Dear god thats the best looking thing I have ever seen, I wonder if I can get one made at a stained glass place near were I live?
Perty glass is oh so perty! Can’t even begin to imagine how frustraiting it must have been when cutting the glass to shape.

Yea there are a few differnt ways of doing stained glass. the method i use is called copper foil which allows me to get as much detail as my bleeding sore hands can handle.
See now, if churches had these things in their windows, I would actually go.

That has to be THE best halo related art I’ve seen in a long time. Kudos to San for making that masterpiece.
Also of note, is the little typo-ish thing: the Covenant aren’t a single race.
I was oversimplifying by collectively referring to them as a type of alien race. I should have been more specific considering my audience. Sorry about that!
