Where Every Man Has Gone Before

Hawty McBloggy Wallpaper

Three years ago today I started this silly little thing called Hawty McBloggy. Since then one of my articles found its way to the front page of Yahoo, I gave away a brand spanking new set of Recon armor, I raised almost $7,000 for Marissa’s Bunny, and I have traumatized more people than Chatroulette and 2 Girls 1 Cup combined. Despite the fact that my website is still silly and it’s obviously still small, 1,096 days have passed and you are still with me. For that I am eternally grateful. Since I can’t properly show you how much I appreciate you (apparently Princess Peach and I have at least one thing in common), I thought we could have some fun with a few statistics from the past year. So sit back and prepare to be entertained by some numbers! And by entertained I mean bored out of your fucking skull. What, did you really think things would change just because we’re embarking on year four?

Halo 3 Jackal Cosplay

Halo Jackal Cosplay

When you mention Halo-related cosplay, most people automatically picture a heavily armored Master Chief or a sexy bodypainted Cortana. Heather however gets a kick out of doing the lesser represented characters. Her latest creation, which are collectively known as the Kig-yar but commonly referred to as Jackals, is the perfect example of that. Showing it off for the first time at Anime Central in Rosemont, Illinois, the avian-like costume is comprised of cardboard and airbrushed fabric and includes not only custom digitigrade stilts but also a mask that has a jaw that is hinged to move with the wearer’s mouth. If the lower mandible completely unhinges, that costume may come in handy for a lot more than just conventions!

Halo: Reach Bungie Employee Bloopers Minitage

Being forced to sit through the same video clip numerous times is much like you spending the afternoon in the bathroom with a penis pump. It’s a fucking waste of my time. And yes, that’s coming from someone who typically likes experiencing things from multiple angles. Despite the repetitiveness of this video though, the Halo: Reach Bungie Employee Bloopers Minitage is still worth a watch so push play and prepare to see everything twice. And don’t forget to select armor lock! All the cool kids are doing it you know.
