Video games, a form of electronic entertainment that involves interaction with a user interface to generate visual feedback on a computer, a console, or a handheld device, are constantly evolving. Its annals may only span back to 1947 but a lot of ground has already been covered. Here is a brief, chronological summary of the history of video game consoles, as told through various confectionery delights. And what a sweet, sweet story they tell.

I have to imagine the phrase “I made a vagina cake for a friend when she lost her virginity” is a phrase that has never been uttered before.
Unless that’s just something you chicks do, in which case, I’m utterly fascinated.
And I was born in the year of the Atari 2600. Damn, I’m old. My friends son has now surpassed my video gaming abilities. I’m gonna go into the corner and cry or something ;)
I feel you on both counts Spaz. Let’s just say I learned the hard way to not play snipers on Halo against ten year olds.
It’s ok tho. After they are done headshotting us on the games, we can still noogie and atomic wedgie them and they can’t do a damned thing about it.
Except beat our asses harder on the games next time.
Reasons like that are why I’m enjoying multiplayer gaming less and less. Besides, I haven’t played Half-Life 2 in a while. :)

Ah, Dreamcast, I knew thee well… of course my Dreamcast does not look nearly as delicious as that cake one. As much as I hate to say it, that PS3 one looks fantastic.

Man, that gameboy advance one is really big, and not well done. Looks horrible as well. When i saw the Xbox cake was 1/4′ed bitten into I got sad face. Great cakes.
By the way, 1. Sorry for double post 2. The NES cake looks the best to me, because I could imagine someone making a bunch of those controllers into a new brand of snack cakes. It just looks like it could be done.

Where’s the N64 cake? All there is are the remains of an unfortunate cake and a rather murderous looking Nintendo 64 game system.
The PSP is the best, but that N64 looks quite appetizing.
