343 Industries has partnered with ONE to create a stunning motion comic based on Frank O’Connor’s Halo: Evolutions short story. Told in ONE’s unique artistic style, “Midnight in the Heart of Midlothian” is a story of bravery and sacrifice in the darkest parts of space. “Midnight in the Heart of Midlothian” will air weekly as a four-part series exclusive to Halo Waypoint, starting this Saturday, January 16th. After the final episode, the Midlothian series will be available on Waypoint indefinitely so fans can come back to watch this amazing story again and again.

I’m lookin forward to this, mostly because I have no idea what it will be about. I did see a certain Frankie up there, so I ‘ave high hopes for this.
Wasn’t this posted on xbox live 2 days ago?
I’m not sure as I don’t typically have the luxury of signing on during the week. It was posted on hbo yesterday though and I saw it today.
uh this looks like a halo chick flick and the animation doesnt seem too good either
What’s chick flick about it?
And the animation thing, well, yeah.
It mentioned something about feelings or emotion or that kind of crap
‘Tis a “motion comic” darling not an animated feature. Think of it more as a comic that breathes. Still pretty lame trailer if you ask me but looking forward to the end product.
With a name like that, it can’t be bad.
‘Heart of Midlothian’ is both the name of one of Edinburgh’s two football teams, commonly abbreviated to Hearts and a mosaic heart on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh.
Frankie is betraying his Scottish roots and taking the mickey with this title.
Looks interesting
I’m really glad that they are leaving them posted in Waypoint for future viewing. Good for us that don’t always remember that there is cool new stuff out
True, very true, hard enough remembering to watch Halo Legends
Looks real nice. Should also do others like Mona Lisa, Dirt, and the Cole one.
Mona Lisa definitely, that story was incredible. Headhunters would be cool to see too
I would love to see the Impossible Life and Possible Death of Cole. That stoy was awesome because Nylund wrote it. Dirt was fantastic, also.
HELL YES
*sigh*
=P
It was a good short story, looks very interesting.
Being quite opposed to the whole Halo anime concept, I’m once again skeptical about this.
It’s more like a moving comic book, per se. Like Crazy said, “It’s a comic that breathes.”
Meh. I’m getting a bit tired of Halo.
(says the man who saw the Reach story in GI and came in his pants)
