An Aquarium For Halo-Loving Fish

Halo Aquarium

If you thought having an intense love for the Halo universe was strictly limited to Homo sapiens, you would be incorrect because aquatic animals apparently enjoy the science fiction world just as much. Tom’s rather unique fish tank is an obvious example of that. Creating an entire underwater battleground arena, his setup includes the Citadel, Drones, Hunters, Marines, and even a Warthog nestled amongst numerous earth-toned rocks. This watery exhibit is so incredible the fish aren’t the only things getting wet. Let’s just say I could house an entire school of fish at the moment as well! While I tend to the tuna, feel free to ogle the plethora of pictures after the jump. Go ahead and drool. It’s not like anybody will notice.

    I wish,I wish I was a fish.

  2. Dragnew says:

Well, it’s certainly not the first time a fishtank has made me wet.

  3. Marksman says:

WHAT IS IT WITH PEOPLE AND GETTING “WET” OVER FISHTANKS!?!?

As I always say; Only on this website… A story of fish has so many innuendos hidden within…

  4. Rhamsey says:

    Thats a pretty cool tank.

    1. Love the rockstar energy drink sitting next to it, this must have taken a lot of sleepless hours to make :)
    2. The Covies side looks wayyy cooler.
    3. Really, where do people find the time for this

  6. Those decorations are not a natural formation.

But they are bad-ass all the same.

Didn’t we see this already? Like, a couple of months ago? Still, it’s pretty awesome.

This is the first time I’ve seen this! It’s the first time I’ve seen a Halo-themed fish tank period actually. Semi-related, I was going to do a similar setup with my hermit crabs a few years back but got stumped as to how successfully incorporate a stream along the middle (I was recreating Beaver Creek).

I THINK (don’t quote me on this) that it was maybe just on Bungie. I was thinking more of a year-ish ago though >_>
I dunno. Page says it was made back in May ’07. S’yeah. Probably on Bungie or something.

      • bs angel says:

The pictures weren’t uploaded until Fall of ’09. They could have been hosted on a different image site before then though, who knows. :)

Hmmm I wonder what he uses to keep the figures at the bottom?

    • pittofdoom says:

Well, most of the figures are from the Halo Action Clicks series, so he probably just piled rocks on top of the figures’ bases to weigh them down.

Very cool fish tank, but where are the fish?????

  11. ReverendTiki says:

it would be perfect if there were some banshees and hornets flying around in there

    • bs angel says:

That would be awesome! What if they floated with the assistance of an air pump like those little treasure chest decorations do?

  12. Glasses Guy says:

I once tried something like this, but my hermit crab just kept touching the Master Chief figures’ cod piece with his claw. Maybe he’s somehow related to Hawty…

  13. t0rm3n7 says:

You know, I think HMB has gotten raunchier as of late…
Not that I mind or anything ;)

  14. Atlas says:

This is only thing in my life that’s actually made me want to be a fish.

  15. lskcrcrjvsa says:

Normally, I am very calm but if you will excuse me for a moment.

    DO WANT!!!!!!

Ahem. Excuse me. Now, I must take one of my aquariums and make something half as cool as this. O and maybe get some fish to put in it too.

  16. DethPwn says:

One thing that fed-up fish do not need is a mounted turret.
