2009 Best of Halo Awards: Accepting Nominations

The biggest games of the year have already been released and now you’re looking forward to the titles making their debut in 2010. That downtime in between can only mean thing: It’s time for the 2009 Best of Halo Awards! Covering everything from the most entertaining video to the best resource website to everybody’s favorite multiplayer map, the Best of Halo Awards attempts to honor those items and individuals that have made a significant impact on the collective Halo community.

While I’m incredibly immersed in anything and everything Master Chief-related, some things do manage to escape my attention so that is where you come in. From now until December 23rd, I am officially accepting nominations for all ten categories involved in these awards. That gives you an entire week to ponder your preferred choices. When you make your nominations in the form of a comment, please remember this is for the year 2009 only meaning potential video nominations must have been made and released in 2009, all screenshot nominations must have been taken in 2009, and eligible news must have occurred in 2009. Please note that if somebody else has already mentioned the same thing you were going to point out, go ahead and call my attention to it again. The more referrals I receive for each individual item, the closer I will look at it for consideration. After the jump you will find the specific categories with a few examples for clarification purposes. If you have any questions, please ask them. Otherwise, get to nominating already!
