A Rockin’ Christmas Light Display

If you think your neighbor has the most annoying, not to mention loud, holiday-themed light display ever, either you live next to this Clark Griswold-like fellow or you are sadly mistaken. Ric Turner, who just happens to be a former special effects specialist, decked out his house this year with a total of 21,268 lights and LEDs that magically transformed his garage into a fully functional Guitar Hero station (a video of which is located after the jump). Playing Cliffs of Dover because there was apparently nothing more festive available, it only features three columns of lights which is really ok as that drastically lowers the ear-deafening screeching of repeated missed notes caused by frozen, numb fingers. I can only assume this was a thinly veiled attempt to get his children to play outside more. Well played, Mr. Turner, well played.

I saw something about this on wikipedia. He has his own really short range FM signal that he uses for sound and does shows some nights.
