Just when you thought Halo-themed knickknacks couldn’t possibly flood the market any more, another wave appears on the horizon from one of the usual suspects. McFarlane Toys recently announced that their seventh Halo action figure assortment will include characters from the Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo Wars video games. Expected to land on a retail shelf near you in January 2010, the specifics about each action figure are outlined below with full pictures located after the jump. At least one of these collectibles will probably appeal to you. And if you’re anything like me, it will be the one with the moobs.
- SGT. FORGE – Halo Wars figure comes with UNSC Shotgun, pistol (removable) and two frag grenades.
- ONI OPERATIVE DARE – Halo 3: ODST figure comes with UNSC suppressed magnum and suppressed SMG.
- TARTARUS – Halo 2 figure comes with Fist of Rukt (Gravity Hammer).
- ELITE FLIGHT (yellow) – Halo 3 figure comes with Covenant beam rifle.
- SPARTAN HAYABUSA (steel) – Halo 3 figure comes with UNSC Rocket Launcher. Exclusive to GameStop.
- SPARTAN SECURITY (orange) – Halo 3 figure comes with two Brute Maulers. Exclusive to Toys R’ Us and Toys R’ Us Canada.
- SPARTAN ROGUE (blue) – Halo 3 figure comes with UNSC Sniper rifle and two plasma grenades.
- WEAPONS PACK – Pack includes Fuel Rod Gun, Spartan Laser, two Spike Rifles, two SMGs, two Shotguns, two Plasma Rifles, two Plasma Pistols, two Frag Grenades and two Plasma Grenades. Exclusive to Target.
Woo. I’m glad Dare’s helmet is on.

What, no Ellen Anders from Halo Wars? I do not usually refer to women in this manner, as I find it to be crude and almost always unnecessary. However, in this case I feel I must make an exception…

By the Prophets, was Anders hot. I would pick up Anders in a SECOND. Miranda Keyes, too. And Cortana, warranting I can find her for under like fifty dollars (impossible). I guess I’ll settle for Forge and Tartarus, then; I’ll admit, they look pretty fine too.
Also, can anyone confirm/deny if the white-striped Rookie actually is easier to pose than the stripeless prototype? I didn’t know the difference and while it looks cooler than the regular Halo 3 ODST, it poses like balls.
/Wants to know before I lock on to buying Dare.
