Eh, but grinandbear, just a suggestion, maybe use speech bubbles or different coloured text just to make it easier to identify which speech belongs to which character.
Oh and my name ‘Not Funny’ wasn’t referring to this btw, I forgot I changed it to that.
Left and right justification too hard to grasp?
this was my thinking! bubbles would just clutter up whats meant to be a simple comic….but colours could work? i’ll see what feedback i get

In such a small space the left and right setting out doesn’t make it overly obvious to somebody who isn’t 100% focused, considering that it’s only a few pixels that separate left from right in such a small panel.
When you have both characters speaking you can easily determine who is speaking with the left and right system, but when it’s just one of them it’s not as easy. I’m not saying hard… I’m saying that colour code or speech bubbles would make it easier.

I don’t think either are really necessary, especially since their names are mentioned first panel and their appearances are easily distinguishable. But your comic, your call Mr. Luke. Great strip by the way, loved this one!
