4th Annual “Fight Like a Girl” Halo Charity Tournament

FLAG halo tournament

If you’ve ever wished you could make a difference just by playing your favorite video game, your dream has officially come true. Fight Like a Girl, an annual Halo charity tournament presented by The Cavegirls, is upon us once again. Taking place over Xbox Live the weekend of October 17th and 18th, this year’s events include FFA, 2v2, and 4v4. Single entries cost a mere $10, and each and every dollar donated goes towards finding a cure for breast and cervical cancer, diseases that affect thousands of women and their families every year. There are prizes of course but really, do you need anything more than that warm, fuzzy feeling you get from consciously making this world a better place? I didn’t think so. Go read the details and then get to signing up. Those bewbs aren’t going to save themselves you know!

The 17th? I’m afraid I’ll still be worn out from the Where The Wild Things Are movie! Still, I love The CaveGirls, and would love to participate… If I could. (E74 Message FTL)

We have a ton of prizes this year, more than we’ve ever had in the past, so there is a good chance you’ll walk away with something. It is only $10 per person, per event or $25 gets you into all 3.

I swear there’s something different about the spartan on that site though.
Something that may have to do with the codpiece.
    I mean, uh, the helmet.
    Still very cool.
    Great cause.

What a great yearly event this is, and hits a bit closer to home this year. Between last years event, and this one I found out I have cancer. Played in the last two years, not sure if I’ll have the spare cash to play this year. Maybe I can find a sponsor. Either way good luck with the event, and save the boobies!
