Artists deal in many different mediums. Some dabble in paint. Others manipulate clay. Lego enthusiast Obscurance connects colorful interlocking plastic bricks until they closely resemble vehicles originally born in the Halo universe. Creating spectacularly elaborate versions of a Scorpion, Warthog, Hornet, and Grizzly, this guy is what Lego fanatics often refer to as a stud. Get it? Stud? Like that itty bitty single circular piece that acts as currency in the Lego video games? Oh forget it. Just hit the jump to see more of the dude’s work.

This is awesome, especially the Grizzly. The worst part about it, though? They’re actually cooler than the official Mega Bloks sets. If only Microsoft had made the deal with Lego, instead…
dude, Mega Blocks screws everything up. their designers are pretty bad most of the time. rarely have i ever agreed with they’re design method. alot of times you see them make a piece for a model and only that model and that piece is useless unless you make that one model. and if you ever noticed, Mega Blocks was limited to Halo Wars, not the rest of the games. i think we may still see LEGO doing something with Halo. :crosses fingers:

Wow, these are extremely well concieved and constructed. This guy could sell these on Ebay.
Lego would have most likely made way better vehicles, but the little Spartans and Covenant figures that Mega Bloks made are way better than Lego figures. For some reason I think Lego felt the Halo brand was too violent for the age range they try to sell to.
Yet, they make Star Wars (limb slicing, beheading, and the last one was PG-13), Indiana Jones (face melting and other gruesome supernatural deaths), and Batman (the modern version being one of the more violent supper heroes)

These are awesome and I would totally buy all of them but the Grizzly’s turret is backwards. The awesomely detailed set showed that the smaller support treads are underneath the front of the turret, but those are supposed to be in the back.
