  1. dickbutt says:

    WHOOOO ODST
Also Wet and Beatles Rock Band, even though i’ve never been much of a music games person.

  2. Tortacular says:

    ODST ftw.

  3. TJ says:

    “… Rubi is Wet.”

    Uhh….

    • Connor Lonske says:

I want to get that game just to see her “wet”.

  4. Visitor at home says:

    ODST! ODST! ODS-
    …Wet? Er. Crap.

  5. Overdoziz says:

Bass Pro Shops: The Strike! Can’t wait!

    • D taktics says:

      I lold

    • bs angel says:

      LOL!!

    • Jillybean says:

I am so with you on that!

  6. Morio Kun says:

Wet looks good, but I’m gonna want to play a demo first of it.

ODST, can’t wait to drop I and kick some covenant @$$.

Other than that, none of the other games excite me :|

  7. Leeumm says:

ODST (obviously) and The Beatles Rock Band are the two I’ll be picking up this month.

  8. Monkey_lord says:

Of course I’ll buy ODST, but the “darkest days” game peaked my interest. How ever if for some what in the game during the civil war period I have to reload my rifle after every shot, then no.

    • duiu says:

Then I take it you never snipe in Gears, either? Really, reloading is the only thing that turns you away from that game. That’s lame.

      • Monkey_lord says:

Nah I played gears and the sniper rifle is a bolt action, so the reload is faster.

What concerns me in the game is if the civil war-era rifles are historically accurate ie. reloading sequence: fire, place the charge in the rifle, then the mini-ball, take out the ram rod and ram the mini ball home, replace the ram rod, move the hammer to half cock, place the firing cap over the nipple (that’s what it is called), move the hammer to full cock and fire, repeat. then no too cumbersome for me.

Also I wrote a paper on the civil was in college if you are asking.

        • Poopie McGhee says:

i’d imagine… since that’s a game…. all that tedious stuff will be replaced with…move the bolt action up then down…

btw bs, i personally think you should do this kind of thing every month… i was looking for one of these lists in the beginning of august…(couldn’t find one) it’d really be a helpful thing (at least i’d find it so)

        • bs angel says:

I usually do them every month, typically about ten days before that month is due to arrive. :)

          LOVE THE AVATAR!

        • Poopie McGhee says:

          i’ll try to remember…

          I KNOW… IT’S GREAT!!!

  9. Its Fun Time says:

‘Bout time NFS Shift came out.
Didn’t that game get a trailer like last year?

    • AusQB says:

Yeah they had one at E3.

Honestly, it looks good and all, but they should seriously stop chasing after Forza and Project Gotham. Go back to the Underground/Most Wanted theme.

  10. AusQB says:

I’m probably going to get Sturmovik. Did anyone try the demo?

    What is Wet? Looks…interesting.

    • BenOfBodom says:

Yup, the demo for Sturmovik is ace. Definitely getting it.

      • AusQB says:

        Nice, thanks.

        • AOClaus says:

IL2 looks great, especially after having played all three of MS’s CFS games and a couple of other sims, but damn, putting it on SIM difficulty felt like was harder than any of them.

  11. deora says:

ODST and dirt 2 for me!

    • Kamarov says:

      yeah same here

  12. Woo hoo! Mini Ninjas!

I cannot resist the combination of heroic ninjas, evil samurai, and cute little forest animals. I think I’ve played the demo every day since it came out.

    • bs angel says:

Trying that demo is one of the first things I will be doing when I get back in town.

  13. Arbiduck says:

I’m picking up Section 8, ODST (It’s inexcusable if you don’t buy it.), and MAYBE Mini Ninjas, I don’t know about that one.

  14. ODST of course!

But I’ve also been playing the Section 8 Demo. Once you figure out what you are doing it’s really fun/addicting. It’s a little like combining Halo 3 with a little of GoW2 in a way and adding in a lot of it’s own spin on different things. Super Sprinting across the map and then jumping in on your jet pack is loads of fun. Plus you spawn by dropping out of the sky like an ODST. Very awesome concept for a game. I don’t know how the campaign is gonna work though. The graphics are pretty decent too. But if it lags the game becomes not fun very fast.

  15. Will Pwn 4 Food says:

I got the Dirt 2 demo, and for someone who casually plays Forza it’s really hard, but definitely realistic and cool. I really want Darkest of Days, I mean COME ON, who hasn’t wanted to use futuristic weaponry in the Civil War or Roman times? Or against Nazis? ODST looks good but I’ll wait to get it for my birthday or Christmas. No big deal. Il-2 I will get ONLY if it isn’t crucified by its reviews, maybe a rental.

    November, on the other hand…11/10/09

    • Marksman says:

      Yeh, Modern Warfare 2 FTW.
Can’y wait till ODST, but I need a chance to pre-order it. Probably won’t until about a week before it come out. Can you do that, anyway?

  16. Poopie McGhee says:

darkest of days, ODST, and preorder Brutal Legend And Borderlands…(i have faith to pre-order)

  17. HellCat says:

At the moment only ODST but a lot of these have caught my eye

  18. pittofdoom says:

I’ll definitely be getting ODST, but Section 8 and Marvel Alliance 2 look pretty sweet, too.

    • bs angel says:

I liked the first Ultimate Alliance. I may just rent this one though.

  19. Wyldfyre says:

I’ve already pre-ordered ODST, and I’m definitely getting Section 8 and Wet.

  20. UnluckyIrish14 says:

I’m definitely gettin’ ODST (pre-order, Johnson FTW!). WET looks pretty fun, but I wanna play a demo first. Might get Beatles Rock Band and GH5 around Christmas or whatever. Other than that, not much else.

  21. KalamariKidd says:

I wanted so much for ODST to have a Fishing mode, looks like I will have to settle for Bras Pro Shops: The Strike for now.

  22. Crazeye0 says:

Rubi is wet eh? well well well ;P

  23. Chris Haldor says:

    Can’t wait for firefight!

  24. Shirdel7221 says:

    STILL no Tekken 6. :(
Never mind, ODST will cheer me up in the mean-time.

  25. noobZ says:

I’m not sure if I’m more excited for Scribblenauts of ODST… I might be more excited for ODST if it didnt come out the DAY I leave for Japan. Gah. Now I have to stay up all night to play it >.>

  26. jarvis says:

    ho hum, more tedious games

only raiden & wet worth looking at

odst worth a rental i suppose, though i suspect it’l be another overated halo game that can be played one handed and blindfolded and completed in 2 hours

  27. Aram says:

DIRT 2,i have play the demo,is just awesome.I have read it doesn’t have Hill Climb, like in Dirt 1.

  28. Darth_nazgul says:

ODST, and if I had the money, Beatles Rock Band.
