The Halo 3 “Believe” campaign made an indelible impression on gamers everywhere but none more so than Halo fanatic John-117. As if his pseudonym wasn’t indication enough, this particular devotee enjoys expressing his passion for all things relating to Master Chief so after soaking in the monstrosity that was the 1,200+ square feet long professional diorama, he set off to create his own rendition, just on a much more reasonable scale. Starting with a McFarlane Toys 3″ Master Chief figure and finishing with a standard football display case, I have to say the end result is rather impressive. It certainly beats my presentation of a Master Chief figure standing on a log, that’s for sure. Could be because the log was actually an oblong piece of shit but who knows. Hey, don’t judge! I was trying to recreate the swamp level. More pictures, all of which are 100% poop-free (to my knowledge anyways), after the jump.

I agree. I love the creativity and the persistence of the Halo community. I know that there are many people with artistic talents, and it’s great that the ones who love Halo are showing it.
