I’m so happy with the art change and this definitely sets the tone for game. DOOOO WAAANT.
Did they take this straight out of the Mad Max series or what?
Alas, too few people recognize how important Mad Max was to the B-series and sci-fi post-apocalyptic genre…
Nobody knows where all those crazy racing/destroy games come from. Sad.
Too true. The Fallout games are almost built around the Mad Max films.
As many other games too. All the racing games where you get trashy cars with spikes and where you can destroy your opponents… There are a lot of them and they all come from there.
Speaking of Mad Max, has anyone seen the movie Doomsday? It’s my favorite movie even though it’s kind of a vague remake.

Think Fallout 3 (rpg first person shooter in a wasteland) meets Diablo (lots of loot) built around Left 4 Deads co-op based gameplay and you’ve got a pretty good idea.
In other words (and I use this term very hesitantly, as it is certainly overused but equally certainly appropriate here), it is epic win. Epic, epic win.

this game is going to be phenominal! ive posted a few tidbits in the forums…or just you tube the shit out of it…i have not been this excited for a game in a really long time

The best thing: the weapons are fully customizable, with over 750,000 different possible combinations.
I’m not really sure if they’re customizable by you…what the game does it is creates weapons based on several different parameters (gun type, ammo type, auto, semi-auto, bolt action, clip fed, cylinder fed, belt fed, scope/no scope), for a total of something like half a billion combinations.
I think finding every one should be an achievement:

Why did a Combine get sent to prison? Why did said Combine then break out of prison and start tripping out like some kind of whacked out gangsta?

I am excited for the game, but I think this is an odd choice.
WOW! I definitely have a feeling that will get changed. Walmart tends to not carry games with such graphic cover art. I will be shocked if it remains unaltered
…Meh. I fear no game will recapture the beauty that is the Sneak King box art :D
