Prayers, Thoughts, Vibes

From halo.bungie.org :
Two years ago, we posted a note about Peter Marks – a Bungie fan from the old days who became a Bungie employee (and later a Certain Affinity employee), and who was diagnosed with some pretty agressive cancer. We set up a website where folks could leave a few words for Peter – and 4500 of you did. The good news: Peter has been fighting these past two years – he’s still with us. The bad news: things don’t look so good for him. The latest round of surgery (on his spine) was undertaken to remove pressure that was causing him to lose control of his legs, and it’s unclear if he’s going to recover enough to go home from this. His wife has suggested that this might be the last chance folks have to talk to Peter; if you want to get in touch with him, you can drop a note on the Marksism website, or you can contact us directly; it’s unclear right now whether he’s up for phone calls or visits, but if we get the word, we’ll pass it along to those who need it. It’s always hard to say goodbye – Peter, we love you.

T.T
Terrible. Hopefully he’ll pull through.
Thoughts and prayers,
I hope we can all ask for a miracle here, I’m sure it can’t hurt.
Best of luck and love to Peter and his wonderful family.
:(
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
prayers to his family, wife, and him.

I’m photoshoppin’ something special for this man
My thoughts to you, and those close to you
The reasons to put more funding into cancer research seems to get bigger by the day. We can only hope this guy pulls through, against the odds.
I thought I would say something non-idiotic, and calm this time.
Pete Marks seems to be what I dream of being. A Halo fan who actually gets to work for Bungie, creators of so many hours of fun in my life. Let’s hope he does pull through, and continue to be what every fan-boy dreams of being. Working for our Best friends we don’t know; Bungie.
I hope he pulls through.
