What’s July 7th to everyone else is Bungie Day to us. The day we celebrate our favorite developer, their games, and this crazy thing we call our community. As we focus on the mutual fascination of the magical number seven, today we say thank you to those slaving away at the Studio. We say thank you for the games, for the numerous interactions, and for taking care of our moms. Yes, we appreciate it. While you keep her on her back, it keeps her off ours! I find it awesome that when I went on the Bungie vs The World playlist at 9am GMT (1 am PMT) there was only about 3000 people on. After a SINGLE game, there were 77,000.
I played this afternoon and there were over 180,000 people in that playlist. O_o

Hmm…I emailed a submission with both a photo and a letter to Bungie, and I don’t see it on here. Then again, all I see is pictures and videos. Is there a separate section for letters, or did they just not make it? I’m a little confused, considering I even got a conformation email thanking me for my submission. I sent it 2 days ahead of time, was there a standard besides the 7 to meet for size purposes, or was 2 days ahead of time not early enough? Nonetheless, great submissions.

First of all, this is a great collection of uber-cool images. It’s good to see some gamers can leave the Xbox long enough to created a game related image/video. Secondly, woo. I managed to get one of the large slots, thanks for posting me up there bs. Thirdly, Bungie must feel chuffed that so many people participated, but of course we all know they make the best games around.

Is it still too late to submit a video? I made a Rube Golberg for Bungie Day, but my capture card only arrived on Tuesday, so I uploaded it onto Youtube on the 7th by which time I thought it was too late to send an e-mail regarding my video :(
