To be honest, I have ALWAYS been wondering just what made The Sims in general, let alone The Sims 3, seem so appealing to people.
In truth, it really doesn’t! It’s just that EA are lucky douches to have taken Maxis to develop the concept, and then rely on fools to part with their money really soon.
Seriously, I could play Nazi Zombies or Starcraft for hours on end. Neither require mass payments to buy more and more tripe one doesn’t need.
