The Red Ring of Death Strikes Again

Munny, an action figure made out of vinyl that boasts movable joints, is considered a do-it-yourself toy for those creative types possessing an artistic side. Suggested methods of adornment include pens, pencils, markers, and paint, but there are always those people that take an idea and run with it. One particularly imaginative person who goes by the name of deviantsigns decided to make two Xbox 360-themed Munnies, one the traditional white color scheme and the other of the darker Elite variety. Besides the adorable power button lights and the 360 logos cut directly into their heads, both feature fully functional LED-powered ring indicators. Hit the jump for illuminated and non-illuminated pictures. Oh, and I would say the kicker is the fact that one of them displays the overly familiar Red Ring of Death but that would be a lie. The real kicker is the fact that one of them actually lights up green. ZING!
CUTE! i want one! the power button makes it more than worth it!

We’ve been trying to fix it, according to Xbox support I need to fiddle around with some cables but that’s not doing much…+The request a repair site is down =/

Munnys are sweet, especially these. The Xbox theme is definitely one I wish I had come up with, I don’t think my Munny skills are where they need to be to be able to pull off something like those though, yet.

Sad face. After reading this article yesterday, I booted up a few games of Halo3 and was then greeted with the RRoD.
Again.
I’m not saying the bs angel cursed my xbox through the interwebz. No. Not at all.

Oh no! Is it a launch one or are you still covered by the warranty?
They are covering it (supposedly.) Original purchase in 2007. RRoD (first) in 2007. Gave some lip to the call center and they said it would be no charge to me. We’ll see.
Until then, I’ll just be another lurker in this and other sweet blogz. Keep up the good work!
