My Gamer Spotlight on Gamers Who Dig Art

I don’t do many interviews. I figure boring all of you at my personal website is one thing as you choose to frequent the home of my mundane video game ramblings. Boring unsuspecting regulars of other websites however just seems mean. I did one for Xbox.com back in 2007 as I have a thing for one of their community team members. I also answered some questions for Being a Blogger in 2008 as it centered on the writing aspect of things instead of the typical gaming side. I have kept 2009 interview-free so when I was approached by Gamers Who Dig Art for a spotlight focusing on gender, I accepted. Females as it relates to gaming is a topic I actively avoid as my viewpoints on the subject matter are not generally accepted. (In case you were wondering, my opinion on the subject is WHO THE FUCK CARES. My vagina doesn’t play the games so I fail to see how it’s relevant.) I opted to happily tackle the interview head on because you know what? The abundance of hate mail will go to their site instead of mine. Feel free to go check it out but remember, you will never get that time back. You have been warned.

um, I have a question:
“With your very busy schedule how often do you get a chance get some good gaming session time with your husband?
I would say unfortunately my husband and I rarely game together, but that is the way I prefer it! His gaming interests focus on sports and WAR-THEMED SHOOTERS, neither of which I play.”
What is Halo? There’s a war, it’s a shooter.
Halo is focused more on the bagging aspect of war.
I should have clarified more. I don’t play realistic war shooters. :)
