It’s On Like Donkey Kong

If there’s one prevalent quality amongst us geeks, it’s our fondest for recreating our favorite video games in as many forms as possible. From Japanese home-packed meals to confectionery cupcake creations, we love expressing our adoration in unique craft form. While some excel in the art of food, others prefer the medium of colorful interlocking plastic bricks. Fantastic Rob would be one of the latter. He recently remade a classic Donkey Kong level, complete with the rolling barrels of death, that features one very happy blocky ape. If you can’t see enough of the finer details in the comparison shot, hit the jump for a close-up of just the LEGO version. Now if you’ll excuse me, I am going to go work on my highly detailed Pong project. UPDATE: Three pieces and 45 seconds later and I’m done. Bow down to the LEGO master biatches!

Yay childhood!
I’m afraid you misspelled ‘Beeyotches’. These mistakes will not be allowed, Ms. Angel :P
It took you 45 seconds just to slap down three pieces of Lego and call it Pong? Lol.
Are you making fun of my 1337 LEGO skillz?!
LEGO pong? sounds pretty complex. so complex that i feel justified making this demand: omg! gtfo! pics or it didn’t happen!
45 seconds for 3 Legos? I wonder what awful way with which you desecrated each piece before placing them down…
(*weeps in fear of the awful, awful truth*)
