Fear My Flying V

If you watched the SPIKE 2008 Video Game Awards, you have already become acquainted with Brutal Legend, an intriguing looking heavy metal-themed third person action adventure game. Featuring the voices of Jack Black, Lemmy Kilmister, Rob Halford, and Lita Ford, the art style is based off the work of Frank Frazetta and also finds significant inspiration from heavy metal and rock album covers. Here are the latest batch of screenshots from this open fantasy world game that is expected to release in October 2009. Considering Tim Schafer is behind the wheel of this one (Psychonauts anyone?), I’d say this game definitely has some decent potential.

I had been following this, but sometime last year I heard it was in trouble. After that, I fell off the wagon, as it were, and haven’t heard anything about it since. These screenshots are awesome, and make me glad that it’s still coming out. I can’t wait to play it!
EVERYONE HAS TO BUY THIS GAME ON LAUNCH! We all know what happened to Psychonauts!!!
I’m waiting for this so much! I’ve been a huge fan of Tim Schafer since Day of the tentacle.
I’ve heard of this game, but I’m not excited over this one. Maybe I’ll pick it up if it does good.
Is there shooting?
I remember seeing the trailer for this on Spike. I’m picking this up on release. Whether or not it’ll be great, I don’t know. Games that sound amazing in concept aren’t always well executed, unfortunately. But, like you said, Tim Schafer’s behind it, so you never now. From the pictures, it looks like a hardcore, metal Kameo. Lol.
LOOKS AWESOME! reminds me of Dethklok
people watch the spike video games awards?
I did. I was flipping, caught it on a rerun, and got sucked in!
