All That Remaaains

A well-made zombie-esque Halo machinima seems entirely too perfect to pass up considering this weekend’s double experience playlist of choice is the braaains-infested Living Dead. Fitting in perfectly with the preselected theme of the weekend, this seven minute video somehow managed to hold my attention throughout the entire thing. And if you are familiar with my eccentric Halo video preferences, you will know that is a rarity indeed. Musical score is above average, camera work and editing is above average, quality is above average, and it features freaky ass infected Elites. What more could you want? Besides hawt reanimated corpse on reanimated corpse action of course, you perverted sicko. :runs off to pitch a new video idea to Machinima.com:

Angel has obviously never heard of Porn of the Dead.

    • bs angel says:

I was referring to one made using Halo 3′s engine. ;)

  4. Visitor at home says:

    Nice.
    That’s all I can say.
Apart from well done to the creators.

  5. blip says:

That video was not all that great.

  6. that one kid says:

damn, it was good but the elite cry hurt my ears like hell

  7. Et3rnix says:

That sounds the zombies make is so creepy. But that video was really sweet. Well done man.

  8. zeohind says:

Great video. The gears of war music suits the video quite nicely

  9. Rockdio says:

Meh….Needs more variety of voice actors, and the camera needs some work.

    • bs angel says:

The voice acting was a weaker part of the video, I agree.

  10. Chills says:

    I got Chills!

    Very nice.

The infected could have had less screech in their voices. Practically had to mute my comp to watch it.

    • Qwepir says:

They sound like Battle droids from Republic Commando being knifed in the face.
      Translation: Too metallic-sounding

  12. Confucious T says:

Pretty good editing. I kinda like how they used the Protoss Dragoon’s voice from Starcraft for the Elites, but I think it would have been better if they used a voice from the Zergs, like a Hydralisk.

  13. LAZR Blade 14 says:

T’was alright. Didn’t knock my socks off. Editing was nice, soundtrack was pretty good, story was alright, voice acting was “eh,” and the “scary” factor… not really that scary.

  14. Tentimook says:

I enjoyed it but it was a little anti climatic. All the sudden there are like 10 random elites when before there were only like 2.

    Plus the ending was dumb.

    • LinksLegionaire says:

      My thoughts exactly

It also should’ve been a little longer.

and the lengthy intro was kind of annoying…

  15. that guy says:

Great machinima, nice idea. Could have done with some more variation in the voices though…

P.S. What was the music for the last part of it?

  16. d3ad1te says:

I’m not gonna lie but that was medicore.

Very boring to, I can’t see how this held you attention lol, It was like 7 minutes of preteens talking and then 2 elites show up.

  17. corkedbottle says:

`not bad…would only recommend work on the audio…although the dialogue is fine…the fx takes something away…try boosting them to stand out more…clearity is an issue here..B+!

  18. whatshisface says:

the effects and choreography was nice, but the voice acting was pretty shoddy. you cant just put out 50% and expect it to be good, you gotta really put out into the recording.

  19. Pat McCrotch says:

Good editing, camera angling, and soundtrack but absolutely horrible voice acting and action timing. 2.3 stars out of 5

  20. Raz Demon says:

I think the zombies sounded a lot like the protoss… anyone else?
