Periodic Table of Controllers

We’ve seen the Periodic Table of Video Game Characters (which was really quite good) and also the Periodic Table of Xbox Games (which unfortunately was not). Next up for your tabular-method-of-illustrating-recurring-trends enjoyment is the Periodic Table of Controllers. Strikingly beautiful and visually intriguing, this particular interpretation is definitely worthy of pouring over. How many of these memorable controllers have you had the pleasure of handling over the entirety of your exalted video game career? And no, playing with your own joystick doesn’t count.

Too many duplicates. The 2004 DS, the DS Lite, AND the 2008 DS? Come on.
What, no second gen Genesis controller with the extra buttons?
Some of these are just frightening. How on earth could you reach some of those buttons?
