As much as I loved NBA Jam, it didn’t stand a chance against GoldenEye, which was easily my favorite game for 10 years.

Civ II is a classic, it can’t possibly be bested by MGS.
Final Fantasy is beating out Diablo, and Metroid is beating out Starcraft.
I think I have to go kill myself now.
All the guys in FF look like chicks, and Starcraft has some of the best voice acting and story ever. Kerrigan was voted second best villian, for god’s sake. Bested by fuckin’ Sephiroth, of course. God I hate people now.

I am confused- I dunno who I’m supposed to be voting for, just the game.
i was scrolling along and voting, some REALLY easy ones. nothing compares to golden eye, then you hit me with a sack full of granite codpieces angel. Fallout 3 vs God of war. i pondered this. for 3 hours i have thought on this, i consulted my psychiatrist, my boss, my facebook friends, and a dog. In the end i chose Fallout 3 but god of war…i still love you, dont hate me kratos

I guess a lot more FPS players haunt this blog than RTS players….
I have a sneaking suspsision if this poll had a wider auidence that the results would be somewhat different….
I love what Starcraft did, and the fact that it is still played to this day. But, I believe that the switch Metroid did when it went to 3D overshadows Starcraft just enough to get my vote.
(also, I really don’t like calling MP a FPS)
i never played starcraft, but have been playing metriod forever. and it wasnt a fps then.
It makes you die a little inside, doesn’t it. T.T
I personally love RTSs. And Starcraft was one of the greats. But Metroid was my bread and butter growing up. And when Samus got herself a shiny new adventure it the 3rd dimension, well, there were tears of joy. (P.S. It doesn’t feel like an FPS to me either. More like a FPP, or First Person Platformer)
fecking console newbs…..Diablo and Starcraft are way better than FFVII and Prime, respectively.
