The Man of Many Faceplates
March 12, 2009 36 Comments
Sometimes you find yourself with a collection so considerable, so comprehensive, that keeping track of each individual item is impossible without a highly detailed and exhaustingly thorough MS Excel spreadsheet. Such is the case with hellon earth159 and his over 300 Xbox 360 faceplate accumulation. Perhaps you remember his lavish console collection, but that previously impressive showing is dwarfed by what his faceplate collection brings to the table. Spanning from widely available to limited edition to one of a kind, his ultimate goal can be summed up with a singular phrase: Gotta have ‘em all. If the teeny tiny spreadsheet does not appease your curiosity about the extent of his faceplate prowess, feel free to take a gander at some more detail-friendly group shots after the jump. Just don’t touch. I don’t think hellon earth159 approves of that.

Please send me the Metallica faceplate. Thanks in advance.
Why would u waste ur money on buying all of these
I’m with Tiki. I wish I had enough money that I could afford to blow it on useless crap.
Why do you waste time and money playing video games?
Maybe he has a similar reason for his collection. :)
So Many Shiny Faceplates…
did one of those say “hell will never take you charlie brown” ?!
It says “Hell will never take you” – Clive Barker
It was signed shortly after “Clive Barker’s Jericho” came out.
The true question is which one does he use?
Good question! I’m wondering that now too.
That’s just ridiculous. That’s like almost one faceplate for every day of the year…ha.
where do these all come from?? surely not contests
limited editions?
LEs of games I mean
wow a Marylin Monroe? ive never seen one of those! thats a one of a kind right there, and the pokemon ones LOL! i wonder if he got a midkip =D
love almost everyone of those.. and i must ask.. which one does he use??? same goes for his 360 collection.
Hah, a Toy Story Claw faceplate? XD
I must have the Gears 2 “Bear Your Teeth” blood omen one.
So, how much would this collection combined with his console collection cost? I’m guessing at least a few thousand.
He’s got “a few thousand” just in one console, There are plates in there worth $500 and even more. If by a few you mean $30,000, maybe.
DAAAMN.
Now that is a collection!
He doesn’t have the tub girl one ^_^
Too bad was for Cliffy B only :(
Every time I look at that, I see plates I want, don’t have, or haven’t even seen before.
The Madden plate, Head Coach and 2K plate….. better watch your back, my man….
There’s $3,000 in plates, JUST in the first ten pictures.
Picture #11 is worth $1,000 by itself.
Picture #12 is worth $1,000 by itself
Then he’s got the Saints Row New Zealand plate, all the Swarovski plates. the three Canadian Charity plates (Simple Play, Our Lady Peace, Kardinal Offshall), the Trace Adkins signed plate, Toy Story, 2K Sports, Head Coach, Supreme Commander, Medal of Honor Airborne. All of those plates are $100-$250 plates. Each.
Whoa, he doesn’t have a DICE plate, WTF?
You just know he’s going for number 360! W00000000t
Oh, if only I had that kind of disposable income…

B.S. Angel,
Thanks for the article.
Picture 16 down, 2nd on the left. What game is it?
Wow nevermind. Looked closer and realized its just an Iron Man plate lol
Because of my love for fighter jets, I can’t help but want ALL of the Ace Combat 6 facepaltes, thoguh I don’t have AC6. AC5 was my favourite game on the PS2, and since it’s release, I’ve wanted AC6. *sigh*
The CoD Modern Warfare face is so, desirable, yet I play Mw2 and basically like a single Grunt in that game.
