If you find yourself fancying a new faceplate for your Xbox 360, Xbox Addict is having just the contest for you. They are generously giving away several different faceplates and entering couldn’t be easier. If you want a shot at one of their Call of Duty 4 faceplates, simply send them an email with the subject line “Call of Duty 4.” If you also want one of their FIFA World Cup 2006 Germany faceplates, send another email with the subject line “FIFA 2006.” Along with those two they are giving away Naruto: Rise of a Ninja faceplates and just in case you haven’t picked up on the theme yet, sending them an email with the subject line “Naruto” will count as your formal entry. It will also get you a smack on the head from me for being such a dumb ass and not figuring that out for yourself. There is one more faceplate they are giving away (Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X.) but entering that one is a bit more complicated so hit that particular forum post to get all the details. You have until March 31st to enter, but don’t worry too much if you miss getting your emails off on time because that just means I’ll have a better chance of winning. And I’m not going to complain about that!

The publishers gave these to us to give away. COD4 came from Activision and Naruto came from Ubisoft. Ubisoft also gave us the awesome HAWX plates and since it’s a current game, we threw the contest in there so people could enter AND learn a little bit about the game. The FIFA plates are some that I bought with the intention of giving them away and now seemed like a good time.
There’s a LOT more faceplate stuff coming up soon. I mean, somehow two years ago this April, I found myself wearing the mantle of “Faceplate Guy.” I think the ball has been dropped as far as faceplates go, so I’m prepared to pick it up and run with it. Right now, people with personal plates are the “weird ones.” When I’m done, it will be ludicrous to own a system and leave it with the stock plate on it.

I think that I’m going to keep my 360 that sleek, uniform white.

Your welcome.
By the way, I went to Pavel Dolgov’s site and saw the price for a custom faceplate. I can’t believe you paid 150 for your faceplate, bs! NO FAIR! I applaude your dedication to win.

Don’t tell anybody but I bought it back when his prices were only $100 per faceplate. I would have forked over $150 no problem though! His work is amazing. :)

I will admit that…
Have you ever played with him? He’s not a prick which for some reason surprised me. (I wasn’t surprised he personally wasn’t a prick, It’s just I was on a douche streak when he came along)

Yeah, Pavel’s a hell of a guy. And his prices were $195 per plate for a while. This guy is a genuine artist, and art costs money. I had one sell for $500, but that mas more because if a signature on it than anything I did to it. The most I’ve seen a plate sell for was a thousand, but there are numerous plates that have gone for more than $500.

I just can’t imagine some one spending that much money! All I know is it must’ve kicked major ass!
