Autographed Halo Posters Giveaway

Everybody needs a piece of video game-themed artwork to adorn their otherwise embarrassingly bare walls. Some people need even more. If you find yourself in the latter group, you are in luck because today I am giving away not one but two amazing Halo posters. Both autographed and part of an exclusive limited run (only 20 of each were made), they correspond to fan fictions published in the regularly released 405th.com E-Zine. One is from Helljumper, an all ODST story, and the other relates to Odessa, a female Spartan series. Both are beautiful and more than worthy of a frame, a prime spot on the wall of your gaming room, and lecherous gazes from fellow Halo fanatics.
Entering this giveaway is easy. Since the posters were generously supplied by the fine folks over at the Halo costuming and prop site 405th.com, simply leave a comment saying what object from the Halo universe you would choose to recreate (assuming time, skill, and money were not an issue) as your official entry. Dream big as anything goes! Hit the jump to see larger versions of the posters you are attempting to win along with the contest specifics. Only one person will find themselves the proud owner of these gorgeous prints. Maybe, just maybe, that will be you.

Contest Specifics
To enter this contest, leave a comment saying what object you would recreate from the Halo universe if time, skill, and money were not an issue. If you do not include the required information, your entry will be disqualified. You may leave more than one comment, but only the first one will be counted as your official entry. Remember to leave a valid email address when leaving your comment as that is how the winner will be notified. As with the majority of my contests, I will happily ship anywhere so there are no region restrictions. Entries will be accepted until Thursday, March 12th at 11:59 pm PST with the winner (as determined by a random integer generator) being formally announced on Saturday, March 14th. The winner will then have three days to respond via email to claim their prize. If the winner does not respond in that time frame, another winner will then be selected.

Remote Control Motorized Scarab, desktop sized. Would like to take it to meetings, set it on a desk and just have it point out all the statistics on the wall with it’s forward beam of red, blue or gold!

I would deffinetely have to choose the banshee. Just imagine flying through the sky without having to put up with traffic jams or road works. You would never be late to work ever again! Screw taking the rusty old bus, get from A to B in style. ;)

A teleporter in which I got travel to Bungie-land and grabb myself flaming recon and then run back as the jackals are chasing me for my tasty flesh. The flames feeds on lipgloss by the way. I hear Schishkas flames never wears out.

But seriously, I’d like to recreate the the hologram projector from the Pillar of Autumn’s bridge. Preferably with an AI included. Because just having the projector would be a little weird.
I would make a scale model of The Ark. I have no idea where i would put it…bu who cares it would be awesome.

I’m pretty sure I’d make the AR. The AR has given me so many good memories: From the many clips unloaded into Flood, or the Grunt domes crushed by a well-placed melee, The AR would always bring back good memories. Best of luck to all!

I would try to build a man cannon or a grav lift, itd probably be doable with some major fans. Muhaha, and then i follow bungies instructions and release in on the freeway to see peoples faces as they go flying in the air…
I would build the entire planet Onyx. Then, when shit starts going bad, I could just encapsulate myself in a Dyson Sphere…
In all seriousness, I would not mind having a working Warthog. :D
SPARTAN-III SPI armor. Because everyone needs a bit of active camo now and then. And, anyone can wear it, because it doesn’t have the extreme reactivity of MJOLNIR armor.
I would make a mongoose. Either that or a sniper rife.

i would have to say a plasma sword, you can cut through ANYTHING!, but if not that, i would love a warthog. although i love the idea of the grav lift…..

I would definitely make a Grav Hammer, and Tartarus’ specifically. He could pull stuff closer to him, like Spark. Think of how easy it would be to get the crackers from the top shelf in the kitchen. Or that tiny screw that fell into the crack between the floor boards when you were fixing something. Or that controller from that 6 year old who keeps badmouthing you on Halo… >_>
Not to mention, it could save you from crazy drivers who don’t know how to stop at a pedestrian crossing. It would be the tech-version of that long-arm grabby thing that grandparents use.

If I could recreate anything in Halo, it would be the hushed casket. No more overnight aging for me, no sir. Failing that, I would build an ODST droppod, but have the monitors inside hooked up to my X Box.

i would make an endless supply of sticky nades that really work. you don’t know how many times i have wished i had real sticky nades because there are a lot of people who could use one on their face lol.

im joking and serious at the same time. there have been many times i just wanted to throw a sticky at someone like in traffic or at the store when they are just too dumb and deserve something humiliating like that.

My thought to build a fully detailed, scaled down Halo. I could say the same for the Ark, but imagine having a 3 foot in diameter replica of the first Halo installation! You could stand like some galactic entity and peer onto the interior of the ring and see familiar landscapes and structures. You can see where the Pillar of Autum went down. Oh, and over there you can see where we boarded the Truth and Reconciliation.
Really cool looking lifesized Human-Flood statue. Kinda put it in the corner of my room and leave it there, and if someone walks into my room, they got a six foot baddie standing there. Lots of screaming. woot.

I would build a giant Master Chief codpiece and offer it to Hawty in a ceremony with Elite Honor Guards on each side of the road.

I would choose a Mongoose because I’ve always wanted a quad bike (Is it a quad bike?). Also I don’t to kill people so no guns :D.
Providing if time, skill, and money were not issues….I would recreate the Forerunner Observatory from the second level of Halo Wars. Energy Bridges would also be included along with information for each planet, moon, star, etc…. I would also make it so I would be able to select systems, planets, stars, etc…and zoom in to view it in holographic form.
I would build a fuul-size, working scarab tank. No moer traffic jams for me, since I could just walk over them. Failing that, since I love flying, a working Banshee flyer.
I would build blackout -the map- so i can play hide and seek with my friends :D
I would recreate the Mjolnir battle armor used by the spartans, and recreate it in its entirety–shields and all.
Why? Because it’s totally badass, and because you wouldn’t need another reason.

If I had the time, money, and resources? I would build something practical I could use outside the Halo Universe… I would so build a Cyclops Exoskeleton from Halo Wars. it is mean, big, tough, and can be used for stuff other then smashy time!
I’ve always wanted a miniature statue of Cortana as “Blind Justice”. So in one hand she holds an energy sword and in the other she has her palm up making a scale float in the air.
I’ve always liked that image and I think it would be kickass to combine it with Cortana.

It would have to be a M808B MBT “Scorpion”. Sorry, I be a tank person, and the Scorpion will always be dear in my heart. That, and, well, think of seeing somebody driving down a highway in a Scorpion :D

I would create a scaled replica of Lockout (Scaled so that normal people, not 8-foot-tall super soldiers, could make all the jumps) for my friends and I to paintball on.
MWUAHHAHAHA! Given time and money, I would build my own Version of 343 Guilty Spark. He would float around doing things for me. I could also get him to annoy people with his silly voice! He could sing songs and crack jokes. Plus, he can teleport me to where I need to go! Plus… His eye is also a giant laser, what more could I ask for?
Oh, and he would have Forge capabilities as well, so I could have him build awesome paintball arenas. (and Halo p0rnz?)

Its got to be a warthog. So that my friends and I will have a sweet ride and there’s a machine gun on the back that we can play around with. Of course I’d be laying on the horn the whole time because that’s what I do during game play. haha. So fun.

Ohay. I would make ODST and/or Security(dunno why) armor with a Battle Rifle, and maybe 343 Guilty Spark. Since he’s advanced technology, and most likely has a lot of knowledge bout it…. creations of new machines FTW. Plus maybe some more obnoxious AIs to annoy everyone.

I would create a life sized robot grunt, with all the iconic catch phrases that doubles as an Xbox 360 with built an wifi. I’d also install it with a drink cooler for those games where you just need a nice cool refreshing beverage. Oh and big bonus for little kids, night light plasma grenades! It would be solar/ electric powered because, you know, the environment. And he’d come with a mini portable version for when you need a grunt to keep you company when your out and about. The mini version comes with a built in thumb drive and will start to call you a DEMON if you start to get close to filling up the memory on it’s hardware. There would also be a iPhone Grunt app that could be taken to other countries as to not lose your mini preshius!
I would build a hornet, a small and extremely maneuverable aircraft that makes things go boom, what more could I want!
I’d create ah Covenant Flagship. Then take over the planet. MUHAHAHAHA!

I would create a banshee, so I could perform barrel rolls, fly at enormous speed, and become incredible at air acrobatics.
If money and tech weren’t an issue. Well, I’d have to go with a fully usable Longsword fighter/bomber. Modified with a slip-space drive, as well as a solar-powered ram-scoop (for infinite fuel), it would also include the pellican pilot flight suit from Halo 3 tailored to my body type. That way I could hob-nob around the galaxy by myself, or with friends!
Assuming time, skill, and money were not an issue, I would create The Pillar of Autumn, complete with an AI, Pelicans, Warthogs, Longswords, MAC Cannon, SHIVA Nuclear Missiles, slipspace drives, and everything else you would find in a UNSC Cruiser. And above all, the SOEIV/HEV Drop Pods the ODSTs use to deploy, because they are awesome.

Although I want to build a lot from the Halo universe, and have a few things underway, I’d really like to build a few full size props starting with the Covenant Carbine, the SMG, and the Rocket Launcher. Although costuming was never my thing, a full-scale set of ODST armor posed in the doorway would be an imposing sight to folks coming over to the house!
I would make that huge AA gun in “the storm.” Not life size…but you get the point.

Let’s see; no time, money, or skill issues. Well, with that in mind, I’d have to say… The Ark with all the perks! I’d have the galaxy in my hands because I’d be able to create as many Halos as I want and have all the technology of the Forerunners at my disposal! Oh, and lets not forget the endless army of sentinals to carry out my wishes! I could then ransom everyone for whatever I want after that.

An elephant! Oh how I love riding on those, honking the horn…Plus I get free turrets and mongooses if it was complete.
I’d bring Star Wars into the Halo Universe and see what would have happened had the Spartans replaced the jedi when Order 66 happened in Revenge of the Sith, just to see the massive holy shit moment that would happen.
Now that would be a sight to see.
It would have to be a short film though, and not a prop, but in essence could spawn some more awesome props at the end thanks to the fans that would watch it. Although I assume it would be a fan based film.

Look at 0:42 seconds into the video. When I first played through campaign and saw this scene, I was blown away by just how beautiful it is.
Since time/money/skill aren’t factors, I’d go for the ark. Not a scale model, but the actual, freaking, working thing. Then I could get it to make halos for me. Or, just a massive robot army. Because everyone knows those are awsome.

Well, given copious amounts of time, I would have to say: The planet Onyx. Since I’ve just finished reading the book. People who read the book will know why.
More down to earth, I’d recreate either a civi warthog (because I’ve always wanted one :D) or a hornet. Cus flying is cool, and the seats are more comfortable than Banshees.
I would recreate a 1: 60 scale model of the Ark and the final Halo from Halo 3 rising from it. I love models and dioramas, and that would be my model dream come true.
I would create a rideable scarab that would be about the size of a fourwheeler. It’d school the neighbor child’s electric jeep or big wheel for sure.
I would make a frigate. I think it would be sweet traveling to different galaxy.

i would create a Halo ring with Giant observation platform, Hi-Def cameras, all so i could watch the guys from Red vs Blue has endless fights. I would also make a teleporter to get there, have ODST armour and a crap load of Halo-based paintball guns. Aswell as all the vehicles. And a shooting range. And a tank. WOOP RvB!

I would build the Spirit of Fire and take all the other Halo fans and their creations and go colonize the several full size halo rings that were being constructed. Oh and save Harvest before the covenant even exist.
I’d totally want the Pillar of Autumn. Not just for travel/destruction purposes, but I could also host some kickin’ LAN parties.
I would create the forerunner factory from ghosts of onyx, i could create AIs to do stuff etc. but whenever they are going rampnt i simply create a new one!

If I could I would create a parallel universe where it was a exact copy of the Halo world that we have learned to love.
But I do not know if that goes in under the category, because there is no parallel universe in Halo and therefore I can not make it…
So I think that I would choose to realise the cloak or active camo ability.
