2D vs 3D in an Epic Mario Vs. Spartan Battle

First he paired them up in a brief encounter that spanned only 45 seconds. Then he forced them into a confrontation in a simple yet entertaining downloadable game. Now GeneticSpartan has decided that Mario and a random Spartan need to face off once again in a 2D vs. 3D battle of biblical proportions. The video runs nine minutes but don’t let the longer than average length intimidate you. By the time you find the end credits rolling down your screen, you will be on your knees begging for more. In fact, this Mario/Spartan mashup machinima is so mind-blowingly amazing that I hereby bestow the term “epic” upon it. That’s right, the one word I have formally forbid any video from using has officially earned it as its singular descriptor. This video (and the battle carried out within it) is motherfucking EPIC. Why are you still reading this? Hit play already.

Rocket and Plasma Grenade Aerodynamics

Every once in a blue moon the planets of Halo align, bringing you a very unique happenstance. Sometimes that rare occurrence results in a spiraling rocket deflection of double kill doom. Other times it causes a plasma grenade trajectory better suited for a game of baseball. This film clip, while breaking more than a few of my cardinal rules of Halo videos, shows a plasma grenade that is knocked off its initial course by the grace of a passing rocket. Editing is poor, the camera work even more so, but the rogue plasma grenade makes up for that with its entertaining curveball impression. Oh, and a note from the author, “I am a Brigadier Rank on Halo 3, so I know a insane stick when I see one.” Oh yeah? Well I’m a Commander, Grade 4 and I know a shitty video when I see one. Lucky for you I know a cool stick when I see one too.

I Dream of Princess Peach

Grandmas are the best. Not only do they always have the perfect present for you every time they visit, many times those thoughtful offerings are handcrafted bestowals made out of nothing but win. And yarn. Last Christmas the Knitting Nonni surprised her grandson with the most adorable Nintendo-themed pillow I have ever laid eyes on. I don’t think you have to be under the age of ten to appreciate a gift like this. Sweet dreams of Princess Peach young lad, they’re coming.
