Jumping is a recurring theme in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise of video games, which is exactly why this Sonic/Spartan mashup works perfectly. Adding both visual and audio elements from the classic Sega game to leaping antics performed within the Halo 3 game engine, this five minute video is sure to be entertaining to more than just those who enjoy hiding during matchmaking. Enjoy the cleverly amusing Project Sonic: A Halo 3 Trick Jumping Video and perhaps you will even learn something new. Like the fact that people who hide for entire matches at a time are complete and total pussies. Oops, did I say that out loud? I meant that they are Halo Legendary Gamers. Yeah, that’s it.

…this video is gay…the only thing to do with sonic is the intro and the music, the rest is just guys trying to show off how cool they are

That was sick, but I guess you’d actually have to know something about jumping to appreciate how difficult that stuff is.

I thought this video was quite happy as well! I just prefer to use language from after the mid-20th century to express myself.

Loved the some of those High Ground and Last Resort jumps. Beastly camera angles. I think there’s a misconception among some users here though? Trick jumping and hiding in matchmaking are very different things.
Trick Jumping and Hiding are different, but the some of best hiding spots are reached through through trick jumping, so it may have a stigma attached to it.
I agree with your sentiment Dmon. Trick jumpers are not necessarily hiders, and hiders are not necessarily trick jumpers. I love watching trick jumping videos (there is one particularly beautiful one I can’t remember the name of right now) but recognize that some people watch them to get spots for matchmaking. To each their own, eh?
Cool vid. Funny enough when my xbox caught the red ring at christmas i got out the old genesis while it was getting fixed and it is still sitting right beside the xbox with sonic 2 in it
I kinda feel offended by you author. Xp Im not a full HLG member but rather an aprentice of sorts, (HLG Ninja Ledge is my trainer) & the reason I love pulling off HLG moves isn’t because I’m a pussy or anything, but rather because of the halarious form of Halo entertainment I get out of it. Making others pissed off because they can’t find/get to me is quite a funny experience. You yourself should try it some time, it is legal anyways & a marvelous for of mischivious humor as well.

And Hawty, could you be thinking of Entropy? It was also done featured Gary UK and Mr. Jump.
I don’t think that’s the one I’m thinking of (although that is an entertaining one as well). The one that comes to mind starts off on Epitaph I believe and is set to beautifully hypnotic music.
