Camping Australia is a Legitimate Strategy

As Bungie actively works towards world domination, it only seems fitting that the board game with the same goal will soon be available branded with the Halo name. Expected to hit retail shelves in July is Risk: Halo Wars Collector’s Edition, a remake of the strategic board game set in the not yet released Halo Wars universe. A turn-based game for two to six players, it will feature three different factions (the UNSC, the Covenant, and the Flood) battling for the supremacy of Arcadia on the classic forty-two territory, six continent board. Risk: Halo Wars will allow for three levels of game play (basic, advanced, and classic) and can be yours this summer for a very pretty $39.95. As someone who spent much of their childhood conquering the world one territory at a time, I only have one thing to say about this: HELL YES I WILL BE BUYING THIS GAME! And someone should get on making a Halo-themed Monopoly that includes a small metal playable copdiece too, just sayin’.

I actually do not own Risk… looks like this is a perfect excuse to fix that little problem.
Anyone who has played Risk more than a few times knows that the Australian empire will one day conquer to world. Perhaps Bungie should consider conquering Australia…

Does Bungie even make any money off of these products, or does it all go to Microsoft? And yes, the answer greatly depends on whether or not I’ll purchase.

Bah, I think they should make Halo Wars for the DS and make it exactly like Advance Wars, cept with Spartans instead of Heavy infantry, and Banshee’s instead of helicopters… n other really cool shit that I can’t personally think of…
