It’s a Damned Ray Gun

I readily admit I am a complete and total n00b when it comes to Halo. I laser my own team’s warthog when I’m aiming for the other team’s banshee, I get more betrayals than anybody else on the planet, and I stay in the base playing defense on one flag games when my team is on offense. So it probably won’t come as a surprise that I didn’t know you could actually kill somebody with a plasma pistol. Yes, I knew of its lowering shields capabilities. Yes, I knew it could temporarily render vehicles motionless. But I had no earthly idea it could actually finish somebody off until I saw this Plasma Pistol Montage. The quality of this video is less than optimal and it’s not exactly dressed to the nines, but it shows some ridiculously embarrassing kills by everybody’s favorite green ball-spewing weapon. Before watching this video, the thing I hated being killed by the most was a needler. After watching this video, I am officially changing my answer to the plasma pistol. Seriously, I’d rather be teabagged by an entire team of Elites before getting killed by this gun. Push play, then pray to the Halo gods this never happens to you.
that gun has to be the worse one in the whole game hands down. i know i have yet to get a kill with one. probably never will either. i just love how he charges in on guys that have lasers and rockets and lives to montage about it. n00bs! =P

Eh, I really woudn’t want him on my team. He could have easily finished off a bunch of those guys with a melee.

plasma pistol can own if you use it right. i’ve tried to use it more lately.
i cant recall me ever being killed by a plasma pistol, but if i were to be killed by one, that would piss me off.
oh yeah, but in halo 2. plasma punchout was my favorite game type. but those were all beatdowns after the plasma pistol took off the shield.
I’m not even sure the kill at 1:38 counts, the guy just stands there and takes it…
why did you think grunts used them?
Still not convinced to pick one up, I hate both types of pistols on Halo 3. I miss the one with the scope *sheds tear*.
LOL. Notice how the montage only shows one or two kills per game. It was never meant to be a finishing weapon after Halo 1. That was pretty goofy, but I’m still chuckling.
Awesome kills to an awesome tune. Some of those kills are insane! How does he advoid getting killed by the guys with lasers/rockets?
the people he killed were not all that smart. i mean, i’m not that great with a alazer, but even i could get a guy within the 20 second span it took him to kill me with Plasma pistols.

He sure has skill by finishing off these guys (some of them even seem scared of his double wielding green-ball spewing plasma pistols) and I wonder why he uses the Mauler first and then uses the Plasma Pistol… (probably to agitate the hell out of these guys:P) But I don’t think that he has a very good k/d ratio and how good he is with the Plasma Pistol, the victims in this footage should have easily killed him (beat him down anyone?)
No I use the same controllers as everyone else =)
My rate of fire is actually quite slow compared to some. =D

the regular pistols r awesome but plasmas suck
