If you were wondering why my Halo Meme Thingy looked like it was drawn by a monkey, the last frame in ZZoMBiE13′s masterpiece explains it all. Sometimes I wish I had just a single artistic bone in my body. This is definitely one of those times! Couple of months ago I binged on ZZoMBiE13′s AHCS; just fell in love with all those bright colours, vivid detail and dry witticism.
It’s hosted on Wu’s HBO Halo site in the comics (!) (obviously) section, BTW if anyone wants to check it out. That’s not a plug; I don’t know the guy from Adam.
I say that Legendary Bloodbath thing is wrong! For me, Legendary is an out of body experience, not because I’m in the zone as the Chief onscreen, but because I’m usually staring down at his lifeless, battered corpse.
The cinematic could be taken as a Mythological reference, the whole Chief being a Greek God and Cortana being used as a pawn by Gravemind (Chess being the favoured sport of the Gods, at least in Clash of The Titans)… or you could take the sexist view that she’s just a little princess and that only Obi Wan Kenobi can help! ;)
Nicely Done Zzombie. doesnt quite have the same Flare as Angel’s, but i think we can let that pass on the point of “didnt use paint program”.

the first thing i ever said upon meeting the flood was “HUGZ?” Then i ran away with my infinite ammo shotgun (seriously it wa slike a god gun in the first halo!) screaming how many of thes little retards are there and nearly drowned in them before i found out the shot gun destoyed 100s at a time. lol
