Mythbusters is impressive, and I can see how the hardcore players would love it, but I have to give my vote to the Rooster Teeth crew for yet another great year of RvB. Reconstruction was excellent.

It’s really a tie between RvB:Reconstruction and Halo 3 Mythbusters… Since RvB already gets all the fame, I’ll go with Mythbusters.

RvB: Reconstruction. They were able to successfully combine the seriousness of Recovery with the hilarity of Blood Gulch Chronicles. And damn, did they leave with a MASSIVE cliffhanger.

I voted for the matchmaking series, I feel that they really did a great job, the stories and jokes are original, and it is nicely edited.
Matchmaking series. Every single one of their episodes just made me laugh so hard. Yes RvB is funny, but I didn’t see it as funny as Matchmaking. I’m gonna have to go with Matchmaking then.
A year ago, it would’ve been RvB, but now? I have to go with MatchMaking. I love Halo 3 MythBusters, but Matchmaking is just more addictive and overall entertaining. Or will be when they release season 2…

I really loved Arby ‘n’ the Chief, however, the latest one’s haven’t been quite so funny.
Yet the Mythbusters episodes seem to be increasing in quality. They have my vote.

While Mr. Ph33r really outdid himself with the Arby and the Chief movie, I feel That rooster teeth’s “Red Vs. Blue: Reconstruction” reigned as the Best Machinima series this year.
RVB:R was really the first series that I actually sat there pressing F5 over and over again until the new video’s where released. The story was griping. The Sound was well Mixed. And that catchy soundtrack will always have a special place in my heart.
Rooster Teeth did quite a bit of work in Post Production with this new series. They did editing tricks that I actually sat there trying to think out how they did them. Each episode seemed to have some fancy little trick that was just jaw-droppingly brilliant each time. It’s sad to see the series end, but it was very well done.

All of them were amazing. and normally I would have given my vote to either Reconstruction, because of how well done it was, or PGL after that, since I loved its sense of humor, but Forecast gets my vote because it was probably my favorite overall.

Halo 3 Mythbusters for me. I really loved the new style of Machinima (and yes, they didn’t invent the idea, but they sure as hell carried it out well), as well as the variety of clips they tested. Everyone laughs when they see a myth they completely thought would be busted, and then figures out that they were confirmed. I also know the makers of Halo 3 Mythbusters, and they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet.
DEFINITELY the hardest vote.

Have to go with Red Vs. Blue Reconstruction…. how can you not. It is always funny, it is really high quality, and it has the unforgettable characters that we have come to know and love. I mean Arby and the Chief is good, but you cant beat a classic.

Arby and the chief has so many catch phases which people continue to use which just shows how popular it is. The dialog was great and is unique by incorporating the action within the game and the action outside the game. The characters could also be easily compared to real halo players.
I was going to vote for pregame lobby, but then i saw everyone had halo mythbusters. So i went and saw the first 3 videos of halo mythbusters. Let me tell you it was cool but it wasnt funny. So i went with pregame lobby!!!!! Racheal will you marry me!!

I voted for PreGame Lobby. You can tell that they put a lot of effort and work into that series and dont have the resources like RvsB.
Halo 3 mythbusters. Its one of those series that you watch the first episode and say to yourself “wow i didnt know that!”, and you try it in-game to be astonished by it. Then you go back to see episode two, rinse, repeat. It isnt overloaded with a crazy amount of episodes, its very original, and be honest, you know its an overall great series when bungie.net features it on their homepage, when all the videos are clips of flaws, glitches, tricks, etc. in the game.

My vote goes out to the “Pre-Game Lobby” series. First, it illustrates the issues, problems, and odd occurrences that occur on Halo, and twists them to a hilarious degree. Second, they finally reveal that Hannah Montana is Satan incarnate. Somebody had to reveal that truth. Finally, I can’t vote for Red Vs Blue, even though I have all their seasons because of that exact reason: They have too many awards. Quit stealin’ the spotlight and let the good newbies shine!

Reconstruction, this one had a semi-comprehensible story. It brought new life into it and it closed some loose ends but broke so many more. Tons of laughs, great use of the halo 3 engine.
It is going to be arby n the chief for me, the robot voices crack me up.
This one was though.A very good fight between Arby & Chief and H3 Mythbusters.I loved the myths that help you out in matchmaking.I have used the Trowing Nades Under Shield Door On Epitah.But A&C always crack me up.But H3 Mythbuster won.The music is catchy.

reconstruction changed my laife and i how i look at halo 3. after watching the whole new season of the red vs blue reconstruction, my life changed for the better and not only better but more awesomer and kick ass. my face was a puddle of liquid of the floor after watching that because it melted it right off!!!!

OK so now that I see this poll I retract my comment from the last poll about not having DigitalPh33r being recognized. For this poll, although I do love Matchmaking, Halo 3 Mythbusters, and Arby ‘n’ the Chief, I had to give my vote to Red vs Blue Reconstruction, just because it was so seamless, flawless, professional, suspenseful, humorous, and just plain amazing.
I chose RedvsBlue: Reconstruction. This kept the good old fun of the old RvsB but with a twist of seriousness. It had a story line a little stronger and a little more serious. Some things have been a complete surprise and have been shocking. the best part is it has its original cast and all the good laughs. Red vs Blue will never get old. The series is the greatest mini-series of any game and should get a giant award. Thanks to the guys from red vs blue, you all have been awesome and have made me laugh a lot, you guys deserve a gigantic trophy and an awesome vacation.

There were a lot of great ones here to choose from. I wish I could vote for more than one, but that would be a bit of a waste wouldn’t it. In the end I went with Red vs. Blue: Reconstruction. The gripping story, the hilarious moments, and the clearly skillful film making all come together into a machinima that is definitely a must-see.

RvB was just the most mindblowing machinima ever made, great plot and hilarious jokes mixed with some tense momemts makes this the best Machinima serie ever.

Someone above mentioned that Reconstruction blended the seriousness of Recovery with the hilarity of BG, and they couldn’t have said it better. Roosterteeth not only popularized Machinima, they made it an absolute ART form. Reconstruction, to me, symbolizes the essence of GREAT machinima–quality of video, quality voice actors, good characters, good plot, and something else to draw the viewer in.
In Reconstructions case, it was the humor, but more so, the fact that it is flat out epic.
Roosterteeth is the best at what they do. An episode a week, every week, they counted the “bump”, camera angles are great, and more. They had my vote from the start.
PGL is great, Arby is funny, but not near the best, Spriggs should have been there, Forecast showed that humor can be clean, Matchmaking is funny, and Mythbusters is Interesting.
Another great series, so far, is Happy Hour Films “Descendant”. Watch it.

Call me crazy but my vote is for “Forcasters”. Ya the other’s are good but “Arby n’ the Chief” really doesn’t have a long-term story-line and is getting old. “RvB” is a classic but in the new series they left out a lot of fun chariters.

Tough choice between Mythbusters and Reconstruction, but for the effort that Rooster Teeth put in and the fact that they’re still able to revolutionize machinima despite how many are around today, RvB got my vote. Mythbusters is interesting, but doesn’t come near to how entertaining RvB is.
