Bryan Simon all the way! Not only are his songs great, but he is active on many forums. I get to see the songs on youtube, then stop by TTL of HC and see posts from the man himself. Good Stuff!
Bryan Simon for sure, he is an important community member for the reason that he continuously and frequently contributes to an ever growing community by a) making us laugh, and b) singing great songs about the game we all love, thereby making us feel good not just about Halo, but in everyday life.

I went with Bryan Simon and his songs, they’re amazing and he has a great singing voice.
I also went with BrySi. He is one hilarious dude, and his recent live streaming concert was one of the best Community events I have seen in months.

When looking at the Nominee’s, I didn’t feel any of them really made a large contribution to the Halo Community. Bryan Simmons songs are good, ODS Steve is, uh, well drawn. Nothing really stood out as “Best Fan-Made Contribution.” After giving it some though, I do feel that the one that takes my vote would have to be “Reclaimer.”
Although I haven’t read all the Reclaimer comics, nor do I have their website bookmarked, I do find myself glancing at them every now and then. Reclaimer is the best halo comic i have honestly seen. It is well put together and well thought out. Reclaimer has given the inspiration to create something positive and creative using halo 3 screenshots. More and more people are creating Halo Comics and quite frankly, I feel Reclaimer is responsible for that.
It is good to see people being creative now a days. Good Job Reclaimer folks’.

My vote went to bryan simon. Its kind of a biased vote, but that tends to happen. I dont really know of (or care) for the other nominees, but bryan simons songs are hilarious, and enjoyable to listen to. Hes dedicated, because even after he got recon (for his songs), he continued to write and sing more songs (hes even releasing one tonight! yay!), and hes dedicated to the halo 3 communities. Last, but not least, hes on my FL, and we play alot together! =)

I vote for Wunderkind’s Halo 3 cardboard creations for what is a valid, yet very simple reason: He is the only person who took his idea from a video game and made into something tangible and real. Sure, he could have made a generic comic about the life of a turret, or he could MAKE THE TURRET. Let’s see this “Bryan Simon” person do THAT.
It’s funny how you think there is a difference between digital creation and tangible creation. How long do you think it takes to make a cardboard weapon? A few hours? Days? How long do you think it takes to design a comic, or write a song, produce CD’s, make machinima?

Bryan Simmon deserves this award because he fully expresses his appreciation and love for halo. Since he does this by himself with only his mind and soul, his creativity all comes from him. Of course he gets his inspiration from halo but his words are superb and genious. Plus hes got a great voice. He is always active and thinking up of new material.

I haven’t really looked at any of the fan-made contributions other than reclaimer and wunderkid, and i think that reclaimer is better, mostly because comics are cool!

Bryan Simon. The songs are perfect in regards to the Halo community. He ties so many elements (Grifball, Rocket Race, MLG, Recon, his mom, 50′s, etc.) into his songs. I really wish they’d play them on the radio. I hope he returns to the community some day, because it’s kind of a lonely feeling without him.
