Skate 2 – 01.20.09
Sports – Rated Teen

Skate 2

Features (from Xbox.com) :

It’s been five long years since your mysterious disappearance from the skate scene, and much has changed in the wake of “the disaster-too-gnarly-to-be-named.” The massive devastation left large swaths of San Vanelona completely destroyed. After the mass evacuation, one company, Mongocorp, won the bid to rebuild New San Vanelona and their zealous protection of their private property has put a damper on the once thriving skate population. Your mission is to rebuild your career and revive the New San Van skate scene in Skate 2. To help you get the job done, you’ll have double the tricks and the new ability to get off your board to move stuff and create the sickest lines. There’s even a crew of locals you can call on to help take care of business. Skate 2 — it’s time to take back the city … one spot at a time.

Stoked – 01.20.09

The riders who brave and master these conditions are the stuff of legend in Absinthe videos and the pages of snowboarding magazines. The look and style of these riders are emulated across the world. In Stoked, it’s your turn to become a legendary rider and wow the world on Xbox LIVE by becoming a snowboarding phenomenon.

Blood is beautiful in this hip hop infused action adventure as Samuel L. Jackson reprises his role as Afro and Ninja Ninja. A striking art style gives Afro Samurai a truly unique look and feel across beautifully animated open environments as he wages war against his adversaries to become number one. Using an innovative gameplay system, enemy AI is affected by the beat of the musical score produced by RZA of Wu-Tang Clan fame. These dynamic battles ensure stylized encounters throughout the game that affect the overall tone of gameplay. Slice and dismember opponents as Afro acrobatically leaps from one location to the next, interacting with anything and everything in the environment to help him on his journey.
