I dunno….games with varying difficulty levels nowadays can keep the entertainment value from dropping that quickly….and I think L4D’s AI director keeps the value up a bit more. But as for the rest, that’s pretty accurate.
I agree with Mizzy, for the most part this is true. There are exceptions, normally the very best games in whatever genre you really like. For me the exceptions to the rule would be Titan Quest and Diablo 2. Which is why I’m looking forward to D3 SO much. My copy of L4D should be here Monday…
I’ve probably played Halo 3 a few times a week since it came out, and that’s been over a year now. With new maps coming soon and ODST coming out in less than a year, this game will be going well past 2 years.
That happens to very few games though. Bungie and Microsoft deserve some credit for their long-term support that very few games receive. With DLC now becoming the norm, a lot of games should be staying around for more than the 1 month mark.
I’m hoping L4D will have some different maps after a while.
…. I feel so bad right now. I’m playing Abe’s Oddysee… came out in 1997… though I played it for longer than the graph says I just recently had the urge to play it again and since I’m grown now and finish most story lines of the games I play I want to finish what I started though I must say games back then were harder and longer.
very true, so true indeed

That graph is pretty accurate for me.
Except H3 has been the same level of fun since I got it. Go Bungie!
I want a icon too :( but yea seriously i just started feeling like that for bubble bobble
That graph is very true, with the obvious except of Halo 3 multiplayer. :)
If that why I am back playing PSO BB?
Could be.
noooOOO!!
I only play them because old games are better?
right… <.<
um
IT CANT BE TRUE!!!
I REFUSE TO BELIEVE!!!
This is a perfect example of a game like force unleashed

btw I feel bad because I am an example of a graph I want to deviate from them all.
True dat.
Thus. this is a true example of me. Now I’m going to play some Combat Evolved.
Now that’s a game I can go back and play any day of the week GeneralCupcakes. :)
