Halo 3: Nintendo Style Collection

Have you ever found yourself wondering what it would look like if Halo 3 had been released on the Nintendo platform? CrazedOne1988 recently found himself so preoccupied with that very idea that he recreated various Nintendo games using Halo 3 screenshots and Photoshop. If his work happens to inspire you to pull out your own image editing software, feel free to link your original creations in a comment. Otherwise, enjoy CrazedOne1988′s Nintendo/Halo mashups! (And just click on the pictures if you’d like to see an original screenshot for comparison purposes.)

  4. PikminGod says:

i love the pokemanz one, but i think the mario would have been better if he was picking up invis’s as coins

  5. davyboy94 says:

    zelda one is win :D

  6. Morpheus says:

  7. Rhamsey says:

  8. mopy09 says:

Those are awesome. Am I the only one who thinks that using a trip mine as a shield is a bad idea?

  9. Salen says:

For some reason, I wanna catch all the Covenant now. Weird.

  10. I’d like to shoot Franky in the face just for sh*ts and giggles. It would solidify the fact that I never really liked Starfox. Those first two are great. Then again, if Bungie could add some Mario style rip off items into forge that would be great also. ;)

    Hahaha, “Teabag”

  12. AT-AT says:

He screwed up Zelda’s Button Scheme. The green B button is the Sword, and the blue A button is the action. Though its just a minor [nerdy] nitpick and the screens are cool nonetheless.

  13. AT-AT says:

EDIT: It appears the linked zelda image is either Exclusively Japanese or a Beta Build. I’ve played the N64 games way too much, I know their control schemes by heart.

  14. Digipatd says:

The Pokemon one is made of pure win.

  15. nixproto says:

  16. Mysterioso2006 says:

  17. MasqueNoMercy says:

    i enjoyed these :-)

  18. Admiral Madden says:

    Great, just Great buddy!

now i gotta find my N64 and beat Majora’s Mask, and the Ocarina of Time, then find my old-arse Gameboy Colour and beat Link’s Awakening DX, Oracle of Ages and Seasons!

That’ll take me a week of non-stop playing, and I don’t have the will-power to stop!

then I gotta beat evey other game I own, again, so I can forget about the cheesy characters and Dialogue most of us fell in love with so long ago…

    ~Admiral Madden~

PS: in the game-boy zeldas, the sword can be put on either the A or B button, exceptthe 2d zelda’s didn’t have the “C” buttons, and the image is themed more like the 3d zelda’s.

  19. Thank you all for the comments!

I was actually inspired to make the first one from the recon photoshop contest bungie had when frankie left. I was a few months late though……… But the rest I made because I enjoyed making the first one so much.

I am already in the planning stages for the next 5 images.
