Warning: Watching this trailer for Ghostbusters: The Video Game (which is expected to have a multi-platform release date of June 2009) may result in a sudden uncontrollable release of ooey gooey ectoplasm. Featuring the likenesses and voices of the original cast from the movie (Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson for all you youngins who weren’t around a quarter of a century ago), you’ll remember exactly who you need to call soon enough. Which would be your local game store. So you can get this shit preordered. The first thing I’ll do upon playing this game? That would be crossing the streams baby. Cause that’s the way I roll.

Trivia: Bill Murray was a last minute replacement for John Belushi. As long as this game is sort of playable, I’ll be happy.

I was so afraid of the Stay puft man at my young age of seeing him. I then proceeded to piss myself and hide. Present day; At haloween haunt to promote the game is the original Ecto 1 and a giant inflatable Marshmellow man. After huggin that damn thing, I am so ready to play this.
Trivia: the first Ghostbusters movie was supposed to be set in space. That would have kicked ass.
The game looks like fun though.

In the town I grew up in, a dude bought the Ghostbuster wagon/car/death machine thing. Yeah, he’d drive it around once in a while during the summer.

I’m totally psyched, game looks wicked. I really hope these go out to con’s again. I was lucky to meet Ernie Hudson .. and then inform him what a Spartan and Halo was, no worries kids, he’s down with the Chief now. He’s hands down the best celebrity I’ve ever met and I’m glad I got to be the first Spartan he ever saw.
