For the Lorena Bobbitts of the Family

Carving a turkey takes a steady and proficient hand. From giving it time to rest to knowing the proper place to make the first cut, there are tricks of the trade that result in having more juicy meat for your plate instead of on the bones. If you’d like to brush up on your slicing and dicing skills before Thanksgiving, a Dismemberment Demo for Dead Space will be hitting Xbox Live November 25th (hey, that’s tomorrow!). Cut off more limbs than you can ever imagine with this brief introduction to the deliciously gory third-person survival horror-action video game. It’s probably more fun than hanging out with your family and attempting to diffuse the imminent fights, that’s for sure.

It’s actually brand new to the Marketplace. They initially weren’t going to offer a demo as the first level is mainly tutorial and the following levels you don’t get the guidance of learning the controls but apparently they changed their minds. I haven’t tried the demo personally but I heard it’s the control room level that you play through.
