Subject: Weekend Theme
The official theme this weekend is Mario Paint. Now you can’t bitch that you didn’t get the memo. Ha! Attached is a rather impressive version of Halo 3’s One Final Effort (most notably heard during the scarab battle and the final warthog run). Enjoy.

Lame. I’m a Mario Paint Purist. If you change the sounds, it becomes 1200000x less impressive.

That is awesome! So is each character a different instrument?

While that is an absolutely awesome Mario Paint creation, I have to nitpick one little thing from Hawty’s description; “One Final Effort” is NOT the song played during the final Warthog run; the song at the end is another variation on the Halo theme called “Greatest Journey” that’s actually closer to the Halo theme heard during the E3 2000 demo; it has less piano and more horns than “One Final Effort”.

Bravo? Like, seriously?
Epic is a great way to describe this.
And to add to Bryan’s statement, One Final Effort is played when the Admiral’s fleet assaults the Dreadnought. Greatest Journey is the end theme but a similar theme is heard in at least one other song from the two listed. This is an accurate rendition of One Final Effort, though.
Still, I’m very much impressed by the work, especially the “Cue…” part. lol

Double Post! To correct myself, this isn’t an accurate example of One Final Effort, despite what the author said. It does sound more like Greatest Journey because of the length of it. I guess I’m not as much of a geek as I am a loser. :(
I’m trying to remember exactly what parts this piece is played in. I know there’s one other song but I can’t remember it. If I knew the name I could put the location to it…
