There are advantages to getting up and taking a shit while messing around with your new Xbox 360 Xii, one of them being a myriad of new hair color options. That’s right, simply letting your screen idle on the “My Features” page until the hairstyle icon rotates (it takes approximately one to two minutes) will open up a flashy new selection of explosively bright colors for your avatar’s hair. From pink to blue to green to red, your ability to express your virtual self just got a little bit bigger. Unfortunately with mo options you also get mo problems. Unless you went with pink like I did, good luck trying to figure out how to make the carpet match the drapes.

Plus, she’s in a wacky time zone that exists between our own realm and another. That is pretty snazzy, but i still like my “brown but almost black so people think your hair is black until you tell them it’s brown” hair. Thanks for the tip though!

Excellent – I now have the correct hair colour. It’s a shame you can’t seem to change the colour of your clothes though.

sorry for the double post but this trick doesn’t seem to be working for me; I leave it idle for the allotted time required but nothing seems to be happening :-/
Are you on the right screen? Go past the avatar menu to “My Features” where the hair style, eyebrows, and other options are listed. If you don’t touch anything for a few minutes, you should see the hairstyle icon do a quick rotation. Then you click on it and you have pink hair with a new screen of color options. Mine worked first try, … ?

Sorry for the double post but, I have been letting it sit on the my features screen for an easy 5 minutes highlighted over the top of hairstyles and nothing has happened. Any advice?
I’m not sure. I would try completely backing out of the avatar creator and trying again.
Go to My Features and let it sit on hairstyles for about a minute or so. The hairstyle icon will ROTATE. Immediately after it rotates, click on it. You’ll hear an audio chime and then it works.
You must do it soon after it rotates, otherwise it does not work, in my experience.
