To celebrate the release of the New Xbox Experience, we’ve got a three-day Play & Win Sweepstakes with thousands of dollars in prizes to give away. To enter, just register your gamertag, download the NXE Gamer Picture, and then play any multiplayer game online.
There are two ways to register for the sweepstakes: Register online or by downloading the free NXE is LIVE Play & Win Gamer Picture from Xbox LIVE Marketplace. You will automatically receive one entry into the NXE is LIVE Play & Win Sweepstakes (limit one entry per person) when you connect to Xbox LIVE and play any multiplayer game over Xbox LIVE (co-op or competitive, whichever you prefer). There are three different prize periods:
- Friday, November 21: 12:01 A.M. to 11:59 P.M. (Eastern time)
- Saturday, November 22: 12:01 A.M. to 11:59 P.M. (ET)
- Sunday, November 23: 12:01 A.M. to 11:59 P.M. (ET)
Three grand prize packages will be given away (Samsung Television Home Theater Package, including a 58-inch Widescreen 1080p HD Plasma Television, 1000 Watt 5.1 Channel Upconverting 5-Disc DVD Home Theater System with iPod Dock, Ultra-High Speed HDMI Cables, and 4000 Microsoft Points) along with 45 first prizes (1000 Microsoft Points) and 120 second prizes (500 Microsoft Points). Unfortunately this particular promotion is only open to residents of the United States but overseas gamers will receive an extra helping of Hawty McBloggy love to make up for it!

Its not really Microsoft’s fault. Due to customs, tariffs, import/export laws, etc, there’s only so much they can unrestrictedly do for other countries. Where actual, physical prices are given out, they probably don’t want to go through the hassle and expense of getting it across the border (nor does it’s partners: You know Samsung has something to do with it since it is their T.V. being given away).
