What Kind of a Person Picks Up the Cloak, OS, and Rockets?!

Note to self: After posting ridiculously long-winded rants about certain things Halo 3 players routinely do that bug the absolute shit out of you, make sure to not do the exact thing you bitched about that very night when playing with friends. Who just so happen to read your blog. And have no problem with calling you on your hypocritical antics.

  8. The ultimate would’ve been you carrying the sniper as secondary :)

No, taking sniper as secondary AND getting in the ghost would be ultimate – but only to get lasered on your way up the beach. :D

  12. LOL Sniper, Rockets, Ghost, Overshield, and camo…….

then being killed and giving it all to the other team…..

    That is the ultimate.

    Haha, that’s funny.

I tend to avoid getting both powerups at the same time, even if they’re both avaiable.

    but… did it work?

did you find yourself to be a more efficient killing machine with all of these? or did you fully become what you hate the most… and get immediately assassinated?

On High Ground, no less. You have to want to pick up both powerups. It just doesn’t happen on accident. I think this was done on purpose, just to elicit a response from your teammates.

  20. You win at life Angel.

the best would be if you had the spartan laser and committed suicide. Sadly, I have done that many a time.

*sigh* I suppose i will just go play some gears.

I did pick both of them up on purpose, although not to be a hog. I spawned on the ledge so I picked up the overshield. I then went and secured rockets. Usually when I am done with both of those things, invisi is long gone. However for some reason it was still sitting there. At that point, I just wanted to make sure the other team didn’t get it so I picked it up, even though it was less than optimal. What are ya gonna do?!

You know, I’ve not done this before… but I have been in the same situation that BS Angel is talking about; you’ve got the Overshield, the enemy is in your sights, and the Cloak is still there. Only difference is I called my friend over, launched a few rockets, killed 2 guys, lost my shield, then he got his cloak, Shotgun at the ready. I just sat back with a BR and picked off what he didn’t Shotgun down and what my other friend didn’t Snipe. You’re WAY too powerful if you start from the beach on High Ground. It’s only a skip and a jump to the rocket with a Mongoose, the Shotgun is right there, as is the Sniper, the Overshield is right there, and if you got the Rockets, the Cloak is in walking distance, you either your team gets it, or you take out the guy who did pick it up… yeah, being in the base kinda’ sucks. All you really get are some Carbines and a Laser. Poor base folk.

But yeah, I can sorta’ see how that excuse COULD work… but really, after ranting like you did? Really? I mean, you had to have it on your mind. You had to be saying “didn’t I JUST get done bitching about this!?” Next time, just don’t get caught; we’ll never know.

  26. I totally understand the idea of not wanting the other team to get the cloak. =) Besides, you OS is almost gone. I will routinely pick up the snipe if I find it on the ground, even though I suck with it…but most of the time I will give it to the sniper extraordinaire on my team at the first opportunity. It does a lot more good for us when it’s not on my back. :P

Love this screenshot. =) Nice…The timing of this is perfect….since you just ranted about people that hog everything on the map. =)

Is this what they mean by saying “You’re your own worst enemy”?

It could be worst though. You could have picked up the Spartan Laser too.
